Yes, Gina and Travis are still together and engaged today. “I’ve just been trying to really enjoy the engagement,” Gina told Extra on the red carpet of the RHOC Season 20 premiere event on June 30. “I really haven’t planned anything. So, I think we’re just gonna ride that out for a little bit longer. And then eventually, I’ll get focused on it.”
When did Gina Kirschenheiter get engaged to Travis Mullen?
After roughly seven years of dating, Gina and Travis got engaged on December 31, 2025, shortly before filming began.
“We took the kids to Big Bear on a pretty-last-minute ski trip,” Gina recalled of Travis New Years Eve proposal during the RHOC Season 20 premiere. “I had eaten my way through the holidays, so my pants were extra tight. I had two broken nails. Of course, this is the time this motherf–ker decides to propose to me.”

Travis popped the question with an engagement ring “prototype” that featured a six-carat, oval-cut center diamond, surrounded by three smaller diamonds on each side. Gina previously opened up to Bravo Insider about how the ring’s design had personal significance, because it paid homage to their combined six children from previous marriages.

“The band has six little stones in it for the kids, and the kids were so excited to tell me that like, they were in the ring,” she shared. “And it’s just so special and wonderful that I felt like Travis and I got engaged, but I feel like the whole family got engaged.”
Gina added on RHOC, “We have so much going on as a family that I did not know if we’d ever get engaged, honestly. Travis does have full custody of his children right now, but they’re still actively in court. You know, you kinda just gotta say, alright, well, do I want it to continue to hold up my life? No, I don’t.”

When Gina asked Travis during RHOC Season 20, Episode 3 when he wanted to get married, he reminded her, “I told you, I’m not talking about it for six months.”
Gina also previously addressed her wedding timeline in a January interview with Bravo Insider, explaining that she didn’t feel ” a sense of urgency” to walk down the aisle. “I really feel like, you know, I found the right person and the right partner for me that I wanna be like my forever person,” she said. “And so, I don’t wanna rush it. Like, I want to enjoy it. I am really enjoying being in this lovey-dovey, in my engagement era.”
She continued, “I wanna take a beat, and I want to enjoy it. So me and Travis basically said, like, at least for the next six months, I’m not even gonna think about what I want wedding planning, none of it.”
Are Gina Kirschenheiter and Travis Mullen going to sign a prenup?
During Season 20, Episode 3 of RHOC, Gina referred to signing a prenuptial agreement with Travis as being non-negotiable. “I feel like the smarter thing to do is to just say whatever assets I have currently go to my children,” she explained to some of her castmates.
Later in the same episode, Gina asked Travis directly for his thoughts on them signing a prenup. “The reasoning behind a prenup is very logical,” he replied. “It’s not like I take it personal or I’m not, like, viewing it like, oh, we’re gonna break up.”
Gina opened up more on the matter in a confessional, adding, “It’s not about the fact that I make more money than Travis. It has more to do with the fact that I’ve worked incredibly hard and I want to protect myself. I want to protect my kids. So, this prenup, it’s not negotiable for me.”

Another conflict on Gina and Travis’ journey to the altar that has come up on RHOC Season 20 is her dilemma over whether or not to change her last name to Mullen once they get married. Should she decide to not go that route, Gina would, of course, be keeping ex-husband Matt Kirschenheiter’s last name, which was something she described as feeling “kind of weird” for Travis.
“My last name, to me, is not about my ex-husband; it is about my children,” Gina explained in Episode 3. “If I were to marry Travis and take on his last name, the same last name as his children, and change my name away from what my kids’ last name is, that feels wrong to me.”
When the issue came up over dinner, however, Travis downplayed how important that name change actually was to him. After Gina wondered if she was “making a bigger deal of this than it actually is,” Travis weighed in, “Look, if we can’t be together because you have your ex’s last name, then there’s bigger issues.” He added in a producer interview, “If we’re happy and content, then … who cares?”
By the end of their conversation, Gina declared, “I mean, f–k it. I guess I could hyphenate it.”
Are Gina Kirschenheiter and Travis Mullen still in business together?
Yes, Gina and Travis still work together through their real estate company, The Gated Group. On RHOC, Gina recent said that “business has been booming,” adding, “Every year that we’re in business, we double our business.”

Though Gina and Travis officially blended their families by moving in together in February 2020, their living arrangement did not last. As seen during RHOC Season 18, Gina asked Travis to move out, though the two remained a couple. Her reason related both to the “baggage” of Travis ongoing divorce, in addition to a lack of space for their family of 8.
“They need privacy,” Gina previously explained to a producer, referring to their children growing older. “We went and we looked at houses, and we looked at what it would take to get into a house the size of our family, and we can’t afford it. Honestly, my gut is telling me that we need to live separately and see where the chips land.”
By the beginning of Season 19, Gina and Travis had moved into a new home together, and she admitted that money had not actually been the problem. “Last year, it was very easy to say, ‘Oh, we can’t afford something together,’ because that wasn’t the real issue,” she said in a confessional. Elaborating on how Travis’ ongoing issues with his ex had influenced her past choices, Gina added that she had been “living with fear and making [her] decisions out of fear” but had decided to forge a new path forward.
