LEXINGTON, Ky. (TCN) —Â A 32-year-old woman has been charged with first-degree wanton endangerment in connection with a May incident in which she allegedly pointed a gun at a restaurant employee.
WLEX reports that on May 11, 32-year-old Nadya Roman ordered food from the drive-thru window at a KFC restaurant. She allegedly became frustrated with how long the food was taking and spoke with employees before parking her car in the lot. She then allegedly took a rifle out of her trunk and pointed it at an employee.
According to an arrest citation obtained by WKYT, the gun was allegedly an AR-15-style rifle. Police identified Roman using a combination of body camera footage of her vehicle from traffic stops and an ID from an employee who picked her photo out of a lineup.
Roman was arrested and booked into jail on July 28, according to WLEX. She was charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, per WKYT.Â
Yahoo! News reports that a conviction for first-degree wanton endangerment can lead to up five years in jail.
