Galyna, for her part, echoed that sentiment, adding in an August 2026 interview, “We are doing good. Still staying strong, running the businesses, doing what we have to do.”

Why did the McBee family decide to part ways with Galyna Saltkovska?

In the episode, the brothers explained to Galyna, who is also a part-owner of the McBee Farm & Cattle Co., that their mounting debts had left them with no choice but to sell the McBee’s Coffee N Car Wash business that she was primarily responsible for running.

Steven Jr. framed the decision as “a good thing” for Galyna, however, in that any prospective buyer would want the leadership team to stay on for three to five years and would also pay “a damn good salary.”

In his recent interview, Steven Jr. also cited the drama between Galyna, Steve Sr., and Masha Petrova as factoring into their decision.

“There is so much that has happened over the last few years on the personal side, that no matter how many times we talk or how much candid communication there is, it all affects the businesses,” he explained. “You can’t have that much happen on your personal life and it not come into the businesses and affect the success or the outcome of the businesses. So, we just decided that was the right decision.”

Galyna, meanwhile, recalled feeling “pissed off, angry, and frustrated” when the McBee men, also including Jesse McBee, Cole McBee, and Brayden McBee, announced their plans to sell the car washes, also letting her go in the process.

“I needed some time to comprehend the information,” she added. “I am a very emotional person. Not emotional. I have a huge temper, so my temper probably got the best of me.”

In hindsight, Galyna said that she has regrets over how she reacted to the career news, which she described as feeling “personal,” in the Aug. 17 episode.

“Building the car washes and being in this entire situation probably was the biggest decision in my life,” she elaborated. “So, when I heard the news and them making the decision without actually talking to me first where we can make the decision together, I think that was the biggest thing that pissed me off.”

She added, “I did completely lash out in the most epic way.”

Does Galyna Saltkovska still work for the McBee family?

Steven McBee Jr. shares an update on where the family business stands now

Despite the delay in the car wash sale, Steven Jr. said that the family is “in a better place than we’ve ever been,” today.

“That’s not saying that we’re out of the woods yet,” he cautioned. “But as far as the direction that things are heading, I have not felt like there was light at the end of the tunnel at any time over the last five or six years. And with the decisions that we’ve made, the tough conversations that we’ve had, and the state of the businesses right now, I feel like we are less than a year away from being in a really, really good spot.”

He chalked up that fact, in part, to them “deciding to sell the car washes,” in addition to shifting focus to cattle and the meat facility, rather than crop farming. “A lot of the decisions that my brothers and I made, that we worked through together, has led us to be in a much better spot than we were in previously,” Steven Jr. added.

When asked if he would miss the car washes, which he’d previously noted had racked up approximately $35 million in debt, he simply answered, “No.”

As Steven concluded, “The car wash is a really, really neat business. It’s cool getting to interact with people that live in the community. That’s the best part of the business. The actual business itself is not so much fun.”

Now that Season 3 has ended, don’t miss a breakdown of how the McBee business organizational chart shifted before Steve Sr. reported to prison.
