That said, he also couldn’t ignore the downside of leaving Gallatin, Mo. “At the end of the day, right before I was about to pack up and leave, it just came down to I can’t leave my family,” Steven added. “I can’t leave my nieces and my brothers.”
Steven McBee Jr. addresses his and Allie Eklund’s post-breakup drama
Even before Season 3 of The McBee Dynasty began airing, news of Steven and Allie’s breakup had already broken in the aftermath of drama that played out very publicly between the two on social media in April 2026. At the time, Steven accused Allie of cheating, but she denied the allegation.
“I hate how things have obviously transpired since then and all of the things that have happened via social media or through the media,” Steven Jr. admitted. “It really detracts from how good of a relationship we had.”

Echoing that sentiment, he said that he hopes “more than anything else” that viewers know the happy couple they saw on the show was very real.
“Again, things have fallen apart since the breakup with Allie,” Steven Jr. added. “But throughout the season, the amount of respect and love that I had for Allie and her family, and that she had for me and my family, that was genuine and there was a lot of love and respect shared. And I just don’t want that taken away because of everything that’s happened since then, or the fallout since then. There was a lot of love and genuine respect there.”
Where Steven McBee Jr. and Allie Eklund stand after Season 3
Regardless, seeing his entire relationship with Allie play out on the show was a “bittersweet” experience for Steven Jr. And even though things didn’t work between them, hindsight has allowed him to appreciate the time they shared together.
“I’m grateful for the relationship,” he said. “I’m looking back at how happy I was and what hope I had for the future. I really did love the girl, think the world of her. And think the world of her family too. I absolutely adore her family, to this day.”
That said, Steven Jr. and Allie haven’t had any postmortem conversations about their failed relationships, nor are they in contact today. As he revealed, “We have not talked.”
Allie, meanwhile, gave her side of the story, addressing Steven’s post-breakup communications in an interview shared to Page Six Virtual Reali-Tea‘s Instagram page on Aug. 5. By her account, Steven shipped back “a good chunk” of her belongings and was also texting her “a lot of messages” after they split.
“Nothing felt like an apology or accountability,” Allie recalled. “To me, it was more so, ‘I did this because…’ So, it was hard to engage with. And I ended up blocking him. … So, I haven’t talked to him. I don’t plan on talking to him.”
Allie added that Steven also mailed each of her family members a “two-page handwritten letter apologizing,” in addition to sending flowers to all of the women in her family. “But I have not been in contact with him,” she reiterated. “He reached out to my family a little bit since then, since I blocked him, but I’ve had no contact.”
