Los Angeles, California – Baby, it’s Keke Palmer! The actor has dished on the strong “bond” she shares with her co-star, Jennifer Lopez.
The Emmy-winning actor shared on Amy Poehler’s Good Hang podcast that J.Lo became a “real mentor” after the two starred in the 2019 crime drama Hustlers.
“We became really close after that,” Keke began on the episode, which dropped Tuesday.
She continued, “I’ve gone through things in my life where it’s like randomly she’ll be like, ‘Call me if you need me.’ I’ll call her, and she’ll give me some real deal, and it’s just like she’s a real girl’s girl.”

Keke also said that the Office Romance star was impressed by her work ethic, adding, “We kind of bonded because she saw me on my grind.”
The 32-year-old further explained that when J.Lo saw her “focusing on my thing,” the Let’s Get Loud hitmaker constantly rooted for her.
“She’s a real mentor and she’s like I want you to win,” the mom of one noted.
