Charlie Zakkour’s love life swiftly re-entered the conversation on Next Gen NYC Season 2 amid new Ariana Biermann romance rumors. As the hookup speculation ramped up in Episode 9, Charlie shed new light on his dating preferences to a Next Gen NYC After Show producer.
As the Next Gen NYC Season 2 cast broke down their dating “icks,” Charlie weighed in, “I don’t think men get icked out by women as easily as the other way around.” He elaborated, “If there’s a girl that I think is, like, hot enough, there’s nothing that she can do to ick me out, frankly.”
An After Show producer, meanwhile, tested Charlie’s statement, giving prompts that referenced various members friend group. Realizing the first scenario was about frenemy Georgia McCann, Charlie conceded that someone who “doesn’t wash their hands” could “maybe” give him the ick. However, he denied that situations relating to social media habits and crypto careers would be dealbreakers, namely because they were thinly veiled nods to his own life.
When it comes to a romantic night out with a special lady, Charlie said that he always assumes he’s footing the bill, “or else it would ick them out.” According to him, there are also “unwritten rules” about paying for female friends, as he said he always does when hitting the town with Ava Dash, for example. “It really depends on how hot the girl is,” Charlie added, before noting that he never pays “if the girl has a boyfriend.”

“It’s more so just like, out of respect to the boyfriend and out of respect to, like, the situation,” he explained. “I wouldn’t want my girlfriend going out and getting paid for by guys.”

After Ariana declared during a BravoCon 2025 panel that she wouldn’t touch Charlie “with a 10-foot pole,” he appeared to be on a mission to prove her wrong, as seen in Season 2, Episode 8. Though he denied on the Next Gen NYC After Show that Ariana’s comment had necessarily “fueled” any potential romantic pursuit, Charlie did go on to admit that her “flirting” afterward “hit a little bit sweeter,” knowing what she had said about him.

Still, Charlie insisted that “nothing sexual happened” between him and Ariana at the weekend-long Las Vegas event. He did say, however, that he and Ariana were “cuddling” and “rubbing each other on the bed” during a late-night cast get-together in his hotel room. In a confessional, Charlie further claimed that Ariana had a “crush” on him but added, “We are flirting. That’s it.”
Fast-forward to Episode 9, and, as mentioned, the Charlie and Ariana rumors only continued to gain traction. Charlie stoked the speculation, joking to Georgia’s ex-boyfriend Omar Zaki that he and Ariana “f–ked in the airplane bathroom” on the return flight from Las Vegas back to New York City. Later, Charlie made a similar comment while telling Shai Fruchter about Ariana’s 1 a.m. visit to his apartment with some friends the previous night.
When Shai asked if Charlie hooked up with Ariana, he answered, “We only f–ked for like a second,” before adding, “I don’t kiss and tell, bro, you know me.” However, Charlie went on to make clear that “nothing too interesting happened” during his hangout with Ariana and her friends.
Still, when Shai questioned if he actually would hook up with Ariana, Charlie answered, “Would I f–k her? Well, why wouldn’t I? Like, what’s the downside?”
