Brittany Warns Nia About Danny in Unaired The Valley Moment

In unaired footage from The Valley Season 3, Brittany Cartwright drew a cryptic comparison between her handling of past issues with Jax Taylor and how Nia Sanchez Booko seemed to be navigating her own marital conflicts with husband Danny Booko.

How to Watch

The Valley airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo. Episodes stream next day on Peacock.

Brittany’s warning to Nia, which she’d issued at her finale Halloween party, was revealed during The Valley‘s Reunion Part 3. “I’m not saying that you and Danny are anything like me and Jax,” Brittany said in the previously unseen clip. “But I protected Jax for so long, and, like, it annoys me, I guess, whenever I see, like, a girl being like, ‘Oh, everything that he f–kin’ does is fine. It’s fine. It’s fine.'”

After Nia insisted that she’d “never said that” about Danny, Brittany replied, “But that’s’ what it seems like.”

Back on the reunion stage, Brittany reiterated that she was “not comparing Jax to Danny,” at the time, adding, “There’s no comparison towards that whatsoever. But I understand why Nia wants to, like, protect things and not share everything all the time. Like, I get that more as I’m watching how you’re being talked to and stuff.”

Nia Sanchez Booko responds to Brittany Cartwright’s comment about Jax Taylor and Danny Booko

In Peacock’s extended and uncensored version of The Valley reunion, host Andy Cohen gave Nia the floor to respond to Brittany’s comparison of their relationships. “I mean, it’s hard to put a reaction into words,” Nia said. “I love my husband. He has moments where he does drink too much, and I don’t like those moments. But he is an amazing man, and I try to, like, be there for him.”

According to Nia, those instances where she appeared to be trying to “protect” Danny simply illustrated the dynamic that they’d built over the course of their decade of marriage. What’s more, she said that her and Danny’s tense interactions on camera were not representative of their typical day-to-day life behind closed doors, either.

“We’ve been together for 13 years; I know him very well,” Nia elaborated. “While what everybody has seen seem so frequent, it’s such, like, a high-pressure-cooker situation while filming. Not that it’s an excuse whatsoever, but the day-to-day at home, we’re going out with friends, that’s not what it is.”

Later, Nia restated, “If you think that that glimpse is what is my everyday … it’s not.” The mom of four also added, “We have a really beautiful, special home bubble.”

Once Brittany and Nia finished speaking, Danny chimed in, “I did go into these things, like I said, [with] stress, anxiety heightened, and used alcohol to cope in those areas, which I should not have done, and which caused me to have too much to drink.”

Echoing Nia’s comments, he further insisted, “These are bad moments that are rare.” Either way, Danny shared that he’s been working with someone who’s helping him “figure out a better way how to handle that type of situation.”

That’s when Andy specifically brought up the heated exchange between Danny and Nia after the drag pageant in San Diego, asking him to explain why he was “so upset by what she had said.” In his response, Danny, again, referred to his general emotional state going into group settings.

“In a way, a lot of times this season, and when I was in those heightened states of not feeling like she had my back and feeling like, you know, she wasn’t defending me in a certain way…” he began, immediately sparking plenty of contrary opinions from his castmates. Once the crosstalk died down, Danny ultimately conceded, “Looking back, yes, I said that was my stupid mindset.”

Now that The Valley Season 3 has ended, don’t miss an exclusive look at Nia’s “incredible” updated wedding ring from Danny.
