“I feel like marriage is a marathon, and if I’m going to be with Travis for the next 50 years and it takes me five, seven, 10 years to marry him, that’s nothing in comparison to the lifetime we’re gonna spend together, so I don’t feel like I should have to sprint to the altar when the true relationship and marriage is gonna last a lifetime,” she explained. “So I’m just taking my time and that’s it.”
Gina Kirschenheiter reveals her plans for a “big” wedding
Gina continued, admitting that wedding planning is something she has thought about a lot. “See, I’ve thought about this because I’ve struggled with it, really, because I feel like, ‘Oh I should be wedding planning.’ But I’m in a different position than the first time I got married. I want to get my kids through college,” she explained.Â
“I want to have a big, beautiful wedding, but I don’t want to have to feel like I have to skimp on anything or feel like I have to skimp on anything or feel like I’m putting the money towards a wedding when I should be putting it toward putting my kids through school and stuff, so I want to do all that first,” Gina explained. “And then I’m gonna have a banger.”
Gina Kirschenheiter shares her plans for getting a prenup before marrying Travis Mullen
Gina has also been open about wanting to get a prenuptial agreement before marrying Travis. Gina referred to signing one as a “non-negotiable” in her relationship with Travis during RHOC Season 20, Episode 3, which Travis has been so on board with. “The reasoning behind a prenup is very logical,” he said during the episode. “It’s not like I take it personal or I’m not, like, viewing it like, ‘Oh, we’re gonna break up.'”

Gina admitted to Bravo Insider that getting a prenup is to set a good example for her three kids, will protect all six of their combined children, and educate viewers. “I don’t want anyone fighting. I want it to be very clear about what everything is,” Gina stated. “And also, I just like to educate myself. I want to know, ‘What should I do? What even is a true prenup? What are these things?’ And I don’t mind sharing that because I feel like I got married really young, I didn’t any of this my first go around, and it got really f—ed. As a lot of young girls do. If I talk about it and I’m open about it…I want people to understand this is what every young person should be doing.”
“I do think it’s important,” she concluded.
