ICYMI: 2026 has brought many reasons for Jacqueline Laurita to celebrate. Believe it or not, it’s been a decade since Jacqueline became a grandma, as her grandson recently turned 10. That’s not the only important birthday that Jaqueline has celebrated this summer; her son, Nicholas, turned 17 back in June, and her husband, Chris Laurita, turned the big 6-0 weeks before. Clearly, it’s been a busy and momentous season for Jaqueline, who continues to thrive in her life on the West Coast.
Most recently, The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum celebrated her grandson Cameron’s big 10th birthday with a sweet tribute. As you may recall, back in 2016, her daughter, Ashlee Holmes, welcomed her son, Cameron, into the world and forever changed Jacqueline’s life by officially making her a grandmother. Now, she’s reflecting on all that. “HAPPY 10th Birthday to my handsome, creative, smart, witty, fun, loving, and kind Grandson, Cameron! I love everything about you! I’m so proud of the boy you are! Come back and see me (us) again soon! Our daily FaceTime sessions are great, but I especially love having you here with me! With all of us! Have a GREAT birthday and don’t forget to make a wish!” Jacqueline, who lives in California while Cameron lives in NJ, wrote on Instagram.

Jacqueline Laurita shares an update on her son Nicholas on his 17th birthday
Back in June, timed to his big 17th birthday, Jaqueline shared an update on Nicholas’ life and reflected on his journey and his life today. Yes, you read that right: Nicholas is now 17 years old.
“As I sit here thinking about that, I feel overwhelmed with gratitude. Seventeen years ago, I became Nicholas’s mom, and little did I know that he would become one of my greatest teachers,” she wrote. “Our journey with autism has been filled with challenges, victories, tears, laughter, uncertainty, growth, and more love than I ever thought possible. Through it all, Nicholas has shown a strength and resilience that continues to amaze me. For many years, the world only saw what he struggled to do. I wish they could have seen what I saw, the intelligence, the sensitivity, the humor, the determination, and the beautiful soul that has always been there.”
She added, “Now, as he continues to find ways to share his thoughts with the world, I am constantly reminded of how much is happening beneath the surface. His insights often leave me speechless. His perspective challenges me to see the world differently. He reminds me every day that every voice matters, even when it doesn’t sound like everyone else’s. Nicholas, you have taught me patience. You have taught me faith. You have taught me that progress isn’t always measured in giant leaps, but in courage, persistence, and never giving up. As you turn 17 today, I want you to know how incredibly proud I am of you. Not because of where you’ve been or where you’re going, but because of who you are. You are one of the greatest blessings of my life. Thank you for making me a better person, a stronger woman, and a more compassionate mother. I love you beyond words, Nicholas.”

Jacqueline Laurita’s daughter Ashlee Holmes sheds new light on her life as a mom
Of course, Ashlee was in her feelings about her son’s milestone birthday as well. And she posted the sweetest birthday tribute to her son, which also shed new light on her own life and evolution since becoming a mom.
“Today my BABY somehow turns TEN YEARS OLD. A whole decade of Cameron Hendrix,” she wrote. “I genuinely don’t know how ten years can feel like a lifetime and a blink all at once. I swear I was just holding this tiny little person in my arms, wondering who he would become… and somehow, right in front of me, he became him. And what a privilege it has been to watch.”
Ashlee, who co-parents Cameron with her ex, Pete Malleo, continued, “But the funny thing is, I haven’t just been watching him grow up. He’s been watching me grow up, too. (Poor kid lol) We’ve grown alongside each other in so many ways. He’s seen me get things right, get things wrong, start over, figure it out, and keep going. We’ve been through so much together in these ten years. So many chapters. So much change. So many memories.”
She went on to add, “I ended up with the best kid I could have ever dreamt of being mine. He is funny and wildly creative. He is kind and thoughtful. He has the biggest heart… and just enough of his Mommy’s sass to keep me on my toes. He makes me laugh harder than almost anyone on this earth, and watching the person he is becoming is one of the greatest joys of my life.  There are a million things I hope I give him in this lifetime. But I don’t think he’ll ever fully understand how much he has given me. He is, and always will be, my heart walking around outside of my body. Ten years ago, you made me your mom. And I would choose you, in every lifetime, over and over again. I love you.”
Jacqueline Laurita shares an update on her husband Chris Laurita on his 60th birthday
Back in May, it was Chris’ turn to celebrate his birthday as he turned 60. And you can bet that Jaqueline used his birthday as an excuse to post a sweet tribute to her husband, celebrating how important he is to their family. (Chris and Jacqueline are not only parents to Nicholas, but also his older brother, CJ, who shares less about his life; Ashlee is his stepdaughter and Jacqueline’s oldest kid from a prior relationship.)
“You are aging like a fine wine! You get better every year! I love everything about you! I always have. You deserve everything you wish for in life and I always enjoy watching you get it. I’m so proud of the man you are, especially as a husband and a Father. I’m a lucky girl. I truly believe these will be the best years of your life ahead!” she wrote. “You’ve worked too hard for it not to be. I’m excited to be on this journey with you! Love you for life!”
