“I’ve been with Martha for 17 years. And I [have] traveled the world, [seen] the most unbelievable things. Experienced the most insane things,” Daisy described.
How did Daisy Toye meet Martha Stewart?
Daisy joked that she first met Martha “a hundred years ago” as she explained their first encounter during an interview with Bravo Insider.
“Her makeup artist was sick. And I was friendly with an editor friend of hers. And she said, ‘Do you want to do Martha’s makeup for an event?’” Daisy revealed.
The RHONY newbie confessed she was “so nervous” to meet a celebrity of Martha’s standing. “I remember, like, going out and buying all new brushes, all new makeup. Just because I was like, everything has to be pristine for the queen,” she recalled.
Daisy shared that her first job with Martha was a success, and the rest is history. “We just vibed,” she added.

Daisy didn’t hold back during the Sept. 8 episode as she described her adventures not only as Martha’s employee, but also friend.
“Working for Martha Stewart is f—king nuts,” she exclaimed in her confessional interview. “Like, one week I’m doing Martha’s makeup, the next week, I’m riding a camel with her in Dubai. Or having a tea party…in Abu Dhabi.” She then joked, “I’m like, ‘What the f—k am I doing here? I’m wearing Zara.’”
Although Daisy was anxious when she first began working for Martha, she shared they’ve now reached a comfortable spot in their relationship.
“The first time Martha came to my house, I was so nervous,” she admitted. “‘Oh my god, it’s not nice enough!’ But like now, I don’t care. Like I live in a little two-bedroom apartment with popcorn ceilings. I don’t care. She loves it.”
Daisy joked, “But, my apartment’s always Martha Stewart-ready. Always.”

Daisy and Martha’s easy friendship and banter was captured on camera as Martha rummaged around Daisy’s kitchen for something to eat, and discovered with horror a “store-bought pie.”
“I’ll teach you how to make pies so you don’t have to ever buy a pie,” Martha scolded her. Daisy then joked to producers: “I can’t believe I didn’t hide that f—king apple pie! Anything store-bought like that, she’ll go nuts.”
Martha lived up to her iconic brand as she suggested improvements to Daisy’s kitchen, and declared of a black and white kettle, “I hate that. It doesn’t go in here.” Martha broke the fourth wall again, as she announced to the cameras, “So much to do in here!”
How Daisy Toye and Erika Hammond are connected through Martha Stewart
Daisy revealed to Bravo Insider that she’s not the only RHONY Season 16 newbie with a connection to Martha Stewart, adding that she and Erika Hammond are both “friends” with Martha.

“Because Martha’s friends with Erika’s husband,” Daisy explained of tech entrepreneur Ankur Jain. “I was actually supposed to go to Erika’s wedding in Egypt with Martha.”
Daisy Toye reveals the advice Martha Stewart gave her on filming RHONY Season 16
Daisy admitted that it wasn’t a huge jump for her to go from life with Martha to life on RHONY Season 16. “I find it very easy,” Daisy shared with Bravo Insider. “Like, I’m around cameras all the time with Martha.”
Daisy added that she’s mirroring Martha’s energy and spirit during her first season as a ‘Wife. “She’s a wonderful woman. Like, to see how she can talk to everybody…In her interviews, I’m like, ‘How does all of that just align?’” Daisy said, then continued, “She’s a genius. And I hope some of her genius rubs off on me.”
Daisy also revealed that Martha did give her sound advice for filming RHONY Season 16. “Martha’s just like, ‘Be careful what you say. Everything’s being recorded,'” Daisy disclosed.
