Grant James died on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at the age of 87 years. The unfortunate news of his passing was made public by his wife, Juli Erickson, who is also an actress and voice actress.
In the emotional post, Juli stated that she and James will be remembered together as “The Godfather and Godmother of acting in Dallas” due to their acting classes. The couple had been together for over 36 years.

Grant James and Juli Erickson got married on July 4, 1986. They have been living together since then and taking acting classes together.
