Los Angeles, California – Supermodel Cindy Crawford is said to be “inconsolable” and “completely in shock” in the wake of her son Presley Gerber’s death at 27 years old.
According to Page Six, Presley’s tragic passing hits particularly hard, as he was “so close” with his mom.
“Cindy is inconsolable. She’s absolutely devastated,” an insider said on Monday. “This is every parent’s worst nightmare, and the family is still trying to process everything that happened.”
Presley died after what has been reported as a “suspected overdose” while staying at a rehab clinic in Santa Monica.

911 dispatch audio referred to an overdose and a cardiac arrest, but his official cause of death has not been revealed.
Sources close to the Gerber family emphasized to People that Cindy and her husband, Rande, had always been supportive of Presley as he navigated his struggles with addiction.
“This was never a situation involving two absent Hollywood parents,” a tipster said, adding, “They were always there for him and did everything they could to help him.”
Presley’s younger sister, 25-year-old Kaia, is said to be “in total shock” alongside her parents.
“Kaia loved that Presley was so open about his struggles; his family was so proud that he was finding strength in helping others,” the source said.
So far, the family has not commented directly on their loss outside of a statement from Cindy’s rep.
“The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time,” the spokesperson said.
