Kyle Richards is still very good friends with Morgan Wade today. More recently, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom of four publicly showed her support for Morgan amid the singer shedding new light on her health journey.
The country music singer took to Instagram on Sept. 30, where Morgan reflected on her decision to get a double mastectomy in 2023. “In honor of National Previvor Day. On Nov. 19, 2023, I took preventative measures and underwent a double mastectomy with reconstruction (straight to implant) after learning that I carry the RAD51D genetic mutation,” she wrote in the caption of the post. “I don’t regret a single thing.”
“I feel incredibly blessed that I was able to find out, take action, and make a decision that I hope gives me the chance to live a healthier, longer life (Also phantom feelings because they took my nipples and I still get cold),” Morgan wrote. Kyle showed her support for her friend by liking the post; Kyle’s daughter, Farrah, also liked the post.

Morgan Wade opens up about her double mastectomy
Previously, Morgan revealed how Kyle was integral in helping her find the medical care she received. In 2024, Morgan shared that it was Kyle who connected her with both a surgeon and the non-profit organization, Mission Plasticos, which provided assistance. “I would rather have done all this and never know if I was going to get breast cancer or not,” Morgan told People at the time. “I would’ve rather done this and have that peace of mind. Life is short, life is precious, and I’m grateful for the advances with science that we have the knowledge to be able to go and take care of these things.”
Kyle added, “I’ve been involved with Mission Plasticos for years, and greatly admire the work they do for women across the country. Breast cancer has impacted my family, and I understand how overwhelming it can be to navigate the healthcare system, the procedures it can entail, the emotional and physical ramifications it can have.”
Morgan previously opened up about her double mastectomy in a March 2024 Instagram post, sharing photos of her after surgery and after she healed, before answering questions about her procedure. The singer revealed that she had been powerlifting four months after her surgery and was looking forward to continuing to heal.
“I have zero regrets, and I am extremely happy with the choice I made. I am blessed God got me through this and has allowed me to heal fast, and I look forward to a healthy, long life, Lord willing,” she wrote in the caption of the post. “The next process is egg retrieval and eventually a hysterectomy and oophorectomy (that I can hold off on a little longer due to my age).”

Kyle has further taken to Instagram to like Morgan’s posts about her being on tour, getting her steps in, and getting her hair done in September 2026. Kyle most recently left a comment for Morgan on Instagram Sept. 28. The “Wilder Days” singer took to her account in late September, amid her Love’s Insane tour, where she posted a video of her sitting next to her French bulldog, petting him as he placed a paw on her arm. “Who owns who?” Morgan asked in the caption of the post.
Kyle took to the comments of the post, where she chided Morgan for focusing on other things amid her busy tour. “WHY ARE YOU TAKING A BREAK??” Kyle asked, to which Morgan replied with several eye-rolling emojis.
