“I’m still trying to process everything that has happened,” Wendy told a RHOP producer during the Oct. 11 episode. “There’s been so many things written about me, written about Eddie, written about our marriage, written about this case. People are taking it as if it’s Bible, without ever being convicted of anything.”

Read on for details on Wendy and Eddie’s legal issues, as well as the latest updates on the RHOP couple’s court case.

What are the charges against Wendy Osefo and Eddie Osefo?

Wendy and Eddie are facing felony charges on 16 counts of alleged fraud related to them allegedly falsely reporting a home burglary and theft in April 2024, host Andy Cohen informed viewers during the RHOP Season 10 reunion.

When were Wendy and Eddie Osefo charged with crimes?

Wendy and Eddie were indicted on October 9, 2025, after prosecutors presented an investigation to a grand jury, according to a press release from the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office. “Dr. Wendy Osefo and her husband, Edward Osefo, are back home safely with their family and in good spirits,” Wendy’s rep said in statement to multiple media outlets on Oct. 10. “They are grateful for the outpouring of concern and support from friends, fans, and colleagues. The Osefos, alongside their legal team, look forward to their day in court. At this time, they respectfully ask for privacy as they focus on their family and the legal process ahead.”

Pickup footage of Wendy and Eddie that was filmed roughly a week after their arrest aired during the Season 10 reunion in February 2026. At the time, Wendy opened up about feeling as though she was in a “nightmare,” before going on to recount the night of her and Eddie’s arrest.

“Never in my wildest dreams did I think it would lead to us being taken away in handcuffs,” she tearfully told her husband of 15 years. “It’s so crazy. It feels like a bad dream. … I was so scared.”

Later, Wendy further detailed her experience of spending one night behind bars. “It was scary,” she recalled on the reunion stage. “They control the lights, which I never knew about jail. You completely lose your autonomy. Because you wake up when they tell you to wake up, ’cause the light’s on. You go to sleep when they tell you to, ’cause the light’s off.”

How has the court case impacted Wendy and Eddie Osefo’s marriage?

During their heart-to-heart in Season 11, Episode 1, Wendy told Eddie, “I think it’s definitely been the darkest time in our marriage. I had moments where I didn’t even wanna talk to you. It’s definitely been trying.” Eddie, for his part, mentioned how they were “rebuilding trust” with each other.

“Sometimes, the people who are closest to us hurt us the deepest,” Wendy said in a confessional. “But if we are going to make it through this storm together, it’s really important that we are more honest and open to each other and trying to remember the love and not remember the hurt.
