ORLEANS, Mass. (TCN) — A 20-year-old influencer has pleaded not guilty to rape in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a 17-year-old girl at his family’s home last year.
Braden Peters, also known as Clavicular, has amassed a large following online due to his livestreams in which he discusses “looksmaxxing,” often invasive ways to improve one’s looks, including using hammers to reshape cheekbones, according to the New York Post.
WHDH reports that Peters was charged with rape, drugging someone for sex, and giving alcohol to a minor in connection with an alleged sexual assault in 2025. According to a police report obtained by the outlet, the victim alleged she participated in a livestream with Peters at his family’s home and he sexually assaulted her afterward.
According to the police report, “Before entering his bedroom, he instructed her to lie on the livestream to say that she is 18 years old. … He also instructed her to say that the alcohol is water, so that neither his Twitch account nor livestream gets banned,” per the New York Post. The victim alleged she became drunk after consuming vodka, fell asleep in Peters’ bed, and woke up to him having sex with her without consent.
WCVB reports the victim reported the alleged assault on June 4, 2025, and alleged it happened May 23, 2025.
Peters pleaded not guilty on Oct. 22 and agreed to surrender his passport, have no contact with the alleged victim, and pay $10,000 bail, per the Post. WHDH reports he is scheduled to appear in court again on Nov. 24.
According to Peters’ attorney, David Meier, Peters “categorically denies” the accusations, per the Post.
