Kate Chastain is single and looking for love. The Below Deck alum revealed at Bravo Fan Fest 2026 that after spending the last three years primarily focused on raising her son Sullivan Cay, she is now ready to start dating again.Â

“I am starting to dabble in a more romantic life,” Kate told Bravo Insider at the October 24 event. “The first few years of having my child [were] focused on that. But you know, mommy’s ready to get back out there, and I’ve been communicating with some people from my past.”

Did Kate Chastain date chef Ben Robinson?
Kate shared a major update on their friendship while speaking to Bravo Insider at Bravo Fan Fest. “Ben and I are absolutely very close. In fact, he called me last week. You know, he’s always busy doing private cheffing for other people around the world and he’ll check in with me…Ben and I will always remain friends,” she said.
Kate stated that she and Ben are the “closest” out of everyone that she has rubbed elbows with from the Below Deck universe. “We have the longest, strongest friendship, and that includes ups and downs, which, if you can bounce back after the downs or disagreements, I think I can make our relationship stronger,” she said. “So our relationship has become very, very strong.”

Kate Chastain shares updates on raising her son, Sullivan Cay
Kate’s son has been keeping her very occupied, as she tackled potty training with him earlier this year. Kate took to Instagram in January where she posted several photos of Sullivan sitting in the car, while revealing where they stood in his potty training journey. “I told him our new car could be his when he turns 16 if he promises to pee pee in the potty,” she wrote in the caption of the post.
Kate had previously spoken to Bravo Insider at BravoCon 2025, where she shared that she was anticipating their potty training journey. “He’s about to be 3, so we’re coming up on potty training,” she said. “Which can be exciting once it’s done…A lot of laundry in the meantime.”
