Jamie Reagan (Will Estes) is coming to Beantown in Boston Blue Season 2 Episode 5, and TV Insider has an exclusive sneak peek at the episode airing on Friday, November 6, on CBS. In the scene above, Sean Reagan (Mika Amonsen) asks for help from his dad, Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg), in finding his missing wallet gifted to him by his late mother, Linda Reagan (Blue Bloods‘ Amy Carlson).
Jamie shows up at the end to give Danny an order on a case they’re working on together, and Sean is delighted by the sight of his dad being bossed around by his younger brother.
Boston Blue Season 2 Episode 5 is called “Blood Diamonds.” In it, “Jamie Reagan’s visit to Boston takes an unexpected turn when he and Danny are drawn into a diamond heist linked to a violent family feud, forcing the brothers to confront lingering tensions of their own,” according to CBS. “Meanwhile, Mae [Gloria Reuben] faces a difficult case after swatting results in a man’s death, Lena [Sonequa Martin-Green] investigates a series of suspicious deaths linked to one of Reverend Peters’ [Ernie Hudson] parishioners and Sarah [Maggie Lawson] and Seth [Mike Vogel] encounter an unexpected hurdle while planning their wedding.”
Sean’s mother died off-screen in a helicopter crash in Blue Bloods Season 7 in 2017. Her death was connected to the dangerous Mano Sangriento cartel, a group that eventually led to Maria Baez’s (Marisa Ramirez) adoption of her daughter, Elena. In Boston Blue Season 2 Episode 2, Elena’s biological grandmother came into the picture, making Danny fear that Mano Sangriento could return to their lives.
Sean is asking if he can use Boston Police Department resources to find his missing wallet in the scene above because of its sentimental value. It’s one of the only things Sean has left from his mom.
Danny assures him that Linda is always with him, but reminds him that patrolmen can’t work these kind of cases. He promises to help if Sean reports the missing item to him, the precinct’s new sergeant detective.
Danny and Jamie are working on a case together, and Jamie seems to pull some rank over his brother in the clip.
What’s happened with Jamie since Blue Bloods that makes him feel he has a higher position than his older brother? Find out tonight on Boston Blue.
