He was declared dead at the Health Center hospital in Tucuman after fainting in the middle of a training session with Argentina’s first-division club, Atletico Tucuman. It was the second pre-season training session for the club.
As he fainted in the middle of the training moment, he was immediately rushed for medical supervision by the doctors.
Shortly, doctors provided him with urgent treatment to revive him from unconsciousness.
However, even after more than forty minutes of medical attempts, medics could not save him, and he died. The midfielder was 22 years old at the time of his remorseful death.Â
While seeing his records, Balanta suffered a similar problem in 2019, for which he was hospitalized during the training season but recovered soon.
