Gunman Kills Stepmother, Sister, Mother of His Children in Pennsylvania, Barricades Himself at a New Jersey Home – Crime Online

A gunman is barricaded in a home in Trenton, New Jersey, after he allegedly killed three people in Pennsylvania, promptng Falls Township to cancel its St. Patrick’s Day parade and shut down a children’s theme park.

Police provided a photo of the 26-year-old suspect and the SUV he allegedly carjacked for his escape and identified him as Andre Gordon.

Trenton Police said that the residents of the home where the gunman was barricaded had been successfully evacuated, according to the Associated Press.

Falls Township police said the three deaths in Pennsylvania took place in two separate locations in the town and that the SUV was carjacked from a Dollar Store parking lot, WPVI reported.

Bucks County District Attorney Jennifer Schorn said police were called to an address in Levittown just before 9 a.m. on Saturday for a shooting and found Gordon’s 52-year-old stepmother, Karen Gordon, and his 13-year-old sister, Kera Gordon dead. Three other people were at the home at the time but hid as Gordon searched for them, Schorn said.

Minutes later, police were called to another address where Gordon had allegedly shot and killed 25-year-old Taylor Daniel, with whom he had two children. He also allegedly blugdeoned Daniel’s mother with his assault rifle and fled.

Just before 9:15, Gordon carjacked a Honda CRV at gunpoint in Morrisville. The driver was not hurt, but Gordon made off in the vehicle, which was later found in Trenton, near the home where he is believed to be barricaded. He had been driving a stolen car prior to carjacking the Honda, police said.

Police said Gordon may have access to other weapons in addition to the rifle he used in the murders.

Police in nearby Middletown Township said the unnamed suspect has ties in both Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and Trenton, where he stays “primarily,” the AP said.

A shelter in place order was issued in the area, but it was later lifted. Officials closed the popular Sesame Place theme park in Langhorne.
