See His Photos with Archie

Shannon Storms Beador officially has a new family member — a new dog! The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member is already the mom to three adult daughters and her sweet dog, Archie. And now the family also has an adorable new dog to love.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on Peacock and Bravo.

RHOC viewers have been quite familiar with Archie, Shannon’s beloved golden retriever, who has been the main “man” in her life since her three daughters moved out of her Orange County house for college and career. But now Archie and Shannon have a new furry family member to hang out and soak up the California sun with.

Shannon took to her Instagram Story on Tuesday, May 20, where she posted a photo of Archie and the new dog, standing outside in the grass, as she got ready to throw a tennis ball to both of them. The new dog looks a little bit lighter in color than Archie, but the resemblance is almost uncanny.

“Archie has a new brother!!!” Shannon wrote over the photo, along with a red heart emoji.

Shannon also took to her Instagram feed, where she introduced the new pup and revealed that he does not have a name just yet. “Archie has a brother!!! Meet the newest member of our family!!!” she wrote in the caption of the post. “He is just the sweetest dog! We have been trying to figure out the perfect name for him and would love any suggestions!!! All of the girls have their favorite but can’t agree on one!”

RHOC Season 19 friend, Gretchen Rossi, took to the comments of the post, where she left her suggestion. “I still vote for Baylor!” she wrote, likely referring to the Texas university from which Shannon’s oldest daughter, Sophie Beador, graduated in 2024.

When did Shannon Storms Beador adopt Archie?

Shannon adopted Archie in 2016 after she saw a photo of him on X (formerly Twitter). “A viewer tweeted a picture of Archie and said, ‘Do you know anyone that’s looking for a dog?’ And I said, ‘Are you serious?'” she recalled in the video above.

Archie was just 10 months old when Shannon and her daughters adopted him. “He was raised in San Francisco at the Four Seasons Hotel, because they have residences up there,” she explained. “So he’s been raised fancy…he’s so much fun, and so protective, and has these sweet quirks.”

In a July 2024 interview with BravoTV.com, Shannon reiterated her gratitude for her dog. “I’m living with the new man in my life, Archie,” she said, describing him as one of the few “reliable guy[s]” that she knows.

Read on to find out why Shannon was grateful for Archie this past holiday season.
