It took a jury less than 30 minutes to convict already-convicted murderer Lori Vallow Daybell of conspiring to kill Brandon Boudreaux, her niece’s ex-husband. This marks Vallow’s third criminal trial in less than three years.
Vallow has already been convicted in the deaths of her children, Tylee Ryan and JJ Vallow; Tammy Daybell, the first wife of her current husband, Chad Daybell; and her former husband, Charles Vallow.
On the morning of July 11, Charles Vallow went to Lori’s rental home in Chandler, Arizona, to pick up JJ for school. Alex Cox, Lori’s brother, was also there. Within an hour, Charles Vallow was lying in a pool of blood, shot by Cox. Cox claimed self-defense and was not charged.
In June 2021, a Maricopa County grand jury indicted Lori Vallow on one count of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder in the death of Charles Vallow.
