On Saturday, July 19, The Real Housewives of Orange County mom shared a quick but positive update on her relationship with Jo De La Rosa. Tamra posted an Instagram Story of her and the RHOC alum posing side-by-side in what appeared to be a parking lot. Although Tamra didn’t provide details about the reunion, it was more than clear that the ladies were still on great terms.
“Never a dull moment with [Jo De La Rosa],” she captioned the photo, which Jo reshared on her account.
Tamra Judge would “love to see” Jo De La Rosa back on RHOC
Tamra returned to Instagram several hours later to answer a few fan-submitted questions, the first of which read: “The 20th [RHOC] season is coming up! Any wives from previous seasons you’d like back?”
“Would love to see [Jo De La Rosa] back!” Tamra wrote. The reply was accompanied by a photo of Tamra and her husband, Eddie Judge, hanging out with Jo at Morton’s Steakhouse.

Tamra made similar comments in a 2024 interview with Bustle, explaining why she would like to see Jo return to the Housewives franchise.
“[Jo] De La Rosa from the first two seasons,” she said. “I’ve become close with her. She appears in Season 18, and I think she’d be great on the show again. She’s older now and looking to move back to Orange County, so it would make sense.”
Jo De La Rosa makes a RHOC Season 18 cameo
Jo made her Bravo debut in 2005 as an original RHOC cast member. She stepped down from her full-time Housewife role after Season 2, the year before Tamra joined the series. Jo went on to appear as a guest in seasons 3, 4, and 18. Her most recent cameo was in the October 31, 2024, episode, in which she attended Jennifer Pedranti and Ryan Boyajian’s engagement party hosted by her longtime friend Alexis Bellino.
She reflected on her brief OC return in a 2024 interview with Us Weekly.
“It was my first time meeting the entire cast,” she told the outlet. “They were all new to me, and they were honestly the sweetest. Everyone was so kind to me. Some of them were like, ‘I used to watch you on your first season.’ To me, that was crazy surprising.
“It feels very full circle to me,” Jo continued. “When I was first [on the show], I had just gotten engaged at 23, and now I’m married. We’re trying to have a baby. It’s very full circle.”

While filming the RHOC inaugural season, the Peruvian native was engaged to Slade Smiley. The pair officially called it quits in Season 2, years before Slade started dating Jo’s good friend, Gretchen Rossi, who became an OC Housewife in Season 4. Gretchen and Slade have been engaged for over a decade and share a 6-year-old daughter, Skylar Gray Smiley. The romance caused a fallout between Jo and Gretchen; however, the ladies apparently buried the hatchet at BravoCon 2023.
Is Jo De La Rosa returning to Orange County?
Jo is now married to Taran Gray, a musician/producer she met on Hinge in 2020. The couple intended to return to Orange County in 2025, but scrapped those plans after Taran lost his job. Jo explained the situation in a June 22 GRWM video, saying she and her hubby decided to downsize and found a new home in Hollywood.
“It’s been crazy,” she said. “We’re literally going through one of the toughest seasons I think that our marriage — and our relationship of five years — has ever come across… We get the keys tomorrow to our new place. I’m really excited.”
