While The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys Season 2 has followed the drama of the McBee family and their significant others, viewers are now getting to know family friend and farmhand Jake Denton a bit better as well.

During Season 2, Episode 5, which aired on July 28, the McBee family headed out on vacation to Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri, with Jake sitting in the passenger seat of the car, driven by his girlfriend, Tegan, while Jesse McBee sat in the back seat.
In the video above, Tegan can be seen mentioning Steven McBee Jr.’s relationship with his on-again-off-again girlfriend, Calah Jackson. “It’s like whiplash,” Tegan explained to Jesse. “I hear one thing, and then it’s like, ‘They’re getting back together,’ then I hear another.”
Once they were at the Lake of the Ozarks, Jake got very comfortable, testing out the many beds and couches inside of the home. But Tegan had her own predictions for his sleeping arrangements.
“Jake will probably sleep outside like the wild animal he is,” she said, during the episode.

What does Jake Denton do on the McBee farm?
Jake is a farmhand at McBee Farm and Cattle Co. He has also been featured on the company’s Instagram account with videos of him riding horses and helping out around the farm. In one video from June 2023, Jake can be seen petting cows, horses, and pointing at the camera.
“Introducing the legend himself, Jake Denton, the embodiment of sheer magnetism. Encounter him once, and you’ll understand why he’s a man you won’t encounter twice,” they wrote in the caption of the post, along with the words “lucky to have Jake on our team.”

Jake has also been featured elsewhere on the Instagram account, providing a “fun fact” in August 2024. “Mature corn right now is releasing up to 4,000 gallons of moisture, per acre, per day, so, didn’t know if you guys knew that,” he explained in the video.Â
He also loves fishing, according to a video posted to the McBee Farms TikTok account. In the video, Jake can be seen reeling in a fish while walking around with a red solo cup. “Jake making the best of these long work weeks we have all been putting in,” they wrote in the caption of the post from May 2023.
Who is Jake Denton’s girlfriend?
Jake is currently dating Tegan, who was seen during The McBee Dynasty Season 2, Episode 5. The couple is still going strong and are so cute together, posting the cutest couple photos on Instagram. “[l’ll never get over playing Cowboy’s and Angel’s with you,” he wrote in the caption of a post from August 2024.

The couple also took a trip to Montana in July, where they listened to music, sipped on drinks, and took some super cute photos together. “Our Montana trip did not disappoint! Til’ next year!” he wrote in the caption of the Instagram post.
