Below Deck Mediterranean Season 11 chief stew Aesha Scott is opening up about her marriage to her husband, Scott Dobson. The New Zealand natives tied the knot in March of this year, and they are still enjoying their newlywed bliss.
Aesha spoke with BravoTV.com in June, where she admitted that marriage has changed their relationship “so much.” But it’s changed it in all of the best possible ways. “It’s so nice because everyone says that on your wedding day, like when you get married, that it’s different. But they really can’t articulate why, and it’s hard to explain why,” she said.
“But Scott and I, ever since we got married, we keep saying to each other, we’re like it does, it feels so different,” she continued. “I think you just feel much more bonded and more of a unit and more of a team. And because before we got married, we were very independent people.”

Aesha’s job as a chief stew, working on yachts, has taken her all around the world and away from her partner for extended periods of time. But she admitted that this has not had an impact on their relationship. “I’m always traveling for work. And he’s always wanting to be away doing something,” she said. “Whereas since we’ve gotten married, we’re doing joint projects now and making way more plans together, and we just feel like it’s Aesha and Scott versus the world a little bit more.”

Aesha and Scott said “I do” in front of 130 guests in a location near their hometown of Tauranga, New Zealand. Guests dined on Thai food, served family style, before dancing the night away. Aesha took to her Instagram Story, following her honeymoon, where she shared her thoughts on her wedding to Scott.
“There’s something that feels so special about it, and you just feel more deeply bonded and such a team, and we’re both still on such a high,” she said in a video posted to her story at the time. “I am just feeling so grateful and content…and the day, the whole weekend, was just absolutely perfect. And I think when a day is so built up like that…it leaves so much room for disappointment. That’s so much pressure to put on a day.”

What to expect from Aesha Scott on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 11
Aesha will be returning to Below Deck Med Season 11, working under Captain Sandy Yawn as a chief stew. In the season, she will be sharing new insight into her relationship with Scott. According to an announcement for the new season, Aesha has her hands full while training her “youngest and most competitive stew team yet” and also planning her wedding to Scott. In the trailer, Aesha can be seen calling herself a “wise old horse,” comparing herself to her younger team. But she can also be seen letting loose on an evening off with her fellow yachties.
