Andy Cohen and Melissa Gorga both issued Teresa Giudice apologies that were 15 years in the making during The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th‘s supersized finale. More specifically, the two said they were sorry for how Melissa’s casting on The Real Housewives of New Jersey for Season 3 had impacted Teresa.Â
Andy had pulled Teresa and Melissa aside amid the epic Bluestone Manor finale party in Episode 9 of RHUGT, explaining that he hadn’t seen them both together since their family feud, which also involved Joe Gorga, “all thawed out” in late 2025. “It seems like the root of everything between you and your brother, between you and Melissa, was the way that this all started on the show,” Andy told Teresa, before asking if she wanted an apology from her sister-in-law.
Teresa replied that Melissa had joined RHONJ “behind [her] back” in 2011. By Melissa’s account, however, she’d informed Teresa that she was “going to audition” ahead of time. What’s more, she recalled her sister-in-law even wishing her “good luck,” when she texted her with the news. In a confessional, Teresa denied Melissa’s version of events.
“Absolutely not. She did not text me before the audition. No f–kin’ way,” Teresa told a RHUGT: Roaring 20th producer. “I got the phone call from Bravo. I never wanted to be on a show with my family. And, you know, I’ve gone through a lot with my family being on the show.”

After a series of throwback RHONJ clips rolled, reminding viewers of Teresa’s family drama through the years, Andy said, “I’m sorry that you had that experience.” Teresa’s response? “Thank you for saying that. That meant a lot to me.”

Despite their disagreement, Melissa, then, took the opportunity to issue her own apology to Teresa. “I know that you felt like you were here first — and you were — and it was your thing,” Melissa said in front of the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host. “And then, I took an opportunity that they offered me. And I apologize to you.”
After Teresa thanked her for saying that, Melissa acknowledged her sister-in-law’s status as a RHONJ OG, adding, “You were here first, and I will never not say that to you.”
From Teresa’s perspective, it was all water under the bridge at that point though. “I mean, listen, it doesn’t matter,” she said. “I would’ve never made up with you if I wasn’t over it. I promise.” Still, Melissa replied, “I don’t need to let it go; you do.” Teresa, meanwhile, assured her that she was “good with it” now.

Where do Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga stand now?
Before the two eventually hugged it out, Melissa expressed that she wanted their recent reconciliation to last, and Teresa promised her that it would. “I swear to you, I will never put the kids through this again,” Teresa said, prompting Melissa to reply, “You know what, I don’t want anyone to f–k it up.” When Teresa added, “Nobody can change my mind. Don’t let anybody change your mind,” Melissa told her, “I will never.”
Because Melissa had met up with the RHUGT: Roaring 20th cast in Miami earlier in the season, Teresa had also already revealed her hopes for the upcoming RHONJ Season 15, for which she and Melissa had already been confirmed as returning cast members.
“Seeing my sister-in-law, Melissa, tonight, it feels good,” Teresa previously said in a RHUGT confessional from Episode 7. “Melissa and I are in a good place, so I’m hoping Season 15 is gonna be an amazing season. I’m putting it out there in the universe.”
