Andy Cohen is in a relationship! The Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host recently confirmed that he does have a boyfriend and is sharing more details about their whirlwind romance of one year.
Andy took to his SiriusXM radio show, Andy Cohen Live, earlier this week, where he told his radio show co-host and ex-boyfriend, John Hill, that he does have a boyfriend. But, he didn’t share his name. “People have asked me for a long time, ‘When are you going to get a boyfriend? Why don’t you have a boyfriend?’ And I have always said I will know when I meet the person,” he explained in the episode.
The dad of two admitted that prior to meeting his new man, he had been picky with his partners. “I don’t want to be with the wrong person. I value my time too much. I value my life too much,” he noted. “And I have great friends and a great life and great kids. And you know, my criteria about what I was looking for never changed. It’s always been a feeling for me. And I’ve always followed that feeling.”
“And I’m really happy to say I met the person you guys,” he concluded. Later adding, “I love him.”
Andy Cohen reveals how he met his current boyfriend
Andy revealed that he and his boyfriend were introduced to each other at a party almost one year ago. “We met at my friend Justin’s July 4th party last year. So it was 11 months ago. And I saw him from across the party,” he explained. “And I almost didn’t go. I never get invited to gay parties in the Hamptons anymore. And I was like, ‘You know what? Let me just go.'”
It was there that Andy met his mystery man, whom he approached. “We talked all night. I very methodically put my number in his phone,” he continued. “Apparently, I said to him twice that night, ‘I want to make sure this number is right,’ and then he said, ‘I knew you were serious when you were really serious about this number.'”

Andy Cohen shares his favorite things about his boyfriend
Since then, Andy has been experiencing bliss with his boyfriend. “I really am happy. I just can’t believe I found this guy,” he added. “I can’t believe it. I’m in shock.”Â
He continued, listing his favorite things about his boyfriend, who has met his 7-year-old son Ben Cohen and 4-year-old daughter Lucy Cohen. “This man is kind and strong and smart, and he is an adult, and he loves my children, and they love him. And I love him,” he noted. “We have been so slow and deliberate and methodical about getting to know each other and introducing him into the equation of my family so slowly, and I have to say it has been so easy. Eleven months, we haven’t had one fight, we haven’t had one disagreement. We just view life in the same way, and one year later I still can’t believe I found him…He is so lowkey, he is not in my business, he doesn’t watch the Housewives.”
