Andy Cohen Reveals Texting Real Housewives During Next Gen NYC Reunion

Andy Cohen is opening up about which Real Housewives moms he contacted when the Next Gen NYC Season 2 reunion filmed in NYC on July 30.

The reunion host took to his SiriusXM radio show, Andy Cohen Live, earlier this week, where he admitted that filming the reunion made him so nostalgic. This is because some of the cast members’ moms are Real Housewives who have plenty of experience sitting on the couch next to Andy for their own reunions. “I shot the Next Gen NYC reunion last Thursday. Let me say this — it was such a full circle moment for me,” he explained in a clip posted to Instagram. “Specifically, 18 years ago, I sat next to Kim Zolciak at her first reunion. And one of my first reunions. And now, I’m sitting next to Ariana Biermann, her daughter, at her first reunion. And it was just crazy.”” 

This led Andy to also contact The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s Kandi Burruss, whose daughter, Riley Burruss, is on Next Gen NYC. “I texted Kim, I texted Kandi. I was giving the moms reports at lunch break about how their kids were doing,” he continued. “Anyway, it was very sweet.”

Andy continued, admitting he also texted The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City‘s Meredith Marks, whose son, Brooks Marks, is a cast member on Next Gen NYC. This is in addition to texting The Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Teresa Giudice, whose daughter, Gia Giudice, is also a cast member on the show.

“I took a selfie with the kids, and I started a text chain with me, and Meredith, and Kandi, and Teresa, and Kim,” he added. “And then I was like, ‘Ooh, Kim and Kandi are on the same text chain right now. Like, that’s interesting.'”

Kim took to her Instagram Story, where she returned the love to Andy after he gave her a shoutout. She posted a photo of her listening to the radio show clip to her Story, noting that this moment also meant a lot to her. “Full circle,” she wrote, tagging Andy and Ariana, along with a praying hand and two red heart emojis. 

Teresa also reacted to what Andy shared by commenting with heart emojis on Andy’s revelation.

Ariana Biermann teases the Next Gen NYC Season 2 reunion

Ariana spoke with Bravo Insider ahead of the Next Gen NYC Season 2 reunion taping, where she predicted that she would be sitting next to Andy in the “hot seat.” But she also knew that she wouldn’t be in the hot seat alone.

“I think we all are [going to be in the hot seat]. I think I’m gonna be in the hot seat for a few things ’cause people seem to love to talk about my relationship, whether it’s with Hudson [McLeroy], whether it’s with Liam [Obergfoll],” she explained. “And I think that Charlie [Zakkour]’s always in the hot seat. What’s new? Then Georgia [McCann], you know. But I think everyone’s gonna kind of have their moment.”
