Andy Cohen Slams Dorit Kemsley’s Lateness at RHOBH Reunion

Host Andy Cohen called out Dorit Kemsley’s seeming lack of concern for her consistent tardiness on the third and final part of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 15 reunion.

How to Watch

“I know one of the big gripes with Dorit this year was her lateness,” Andy pointed out. “But with all due respect to you, aren’t you always kind of late?” After Dorit confirmed that to be true, he asked her castmates if it was “worse this year” than it had been in the past.

“Yes,” Erika Jayne chimed in. “And Dorit is a very important part of this cast and making it work, and when you disappear for two hours, we need you in the conversation.”

After clarifying that she was specifically referring to the pizza party during their drama-filled cast trip to Italy, Dorit countered, “Everyone followed within five minutes. I was at the pizza party the entire night, Erika.”

As their debate raged on, Andy interjected to remark, “OK, can I say this? You don’t seem especially sorry about it.”

Inside Dorit Kemsley’s apology for her lateness during the RHOBH reunion

Dorit, for her part, explained that she was simply “tired of being attacked” and of having to “constantly” defend herself. After going back and forth with Kyle Richards, who claimed that Dorit gets “defensive” whenever the group tries to offer her some constructive criticism, the Unburdened author eventually apologized.

“I’m very sorry…” Dorit began, when Erika cut her off to ask, “But do you mean it?”

Dorit answered, “No, Erika, I’m a cold-hearted f–king c–t,” before adding, “Yes, I mean it. … And I have a lot of empathy for people when they are late.” She went on to recall how Sutton Stracke had been four hours late during their earlier Season 15 trip to Sedona, questioning why she hadn’t gotten similarly “reamed” by the group.

The subject arose again a bit later when Andy gave Dorit the opportunity to share if, after watching the season back, there was anything that she felt that she “should really work on.”

“Listen, I think the late thing, it gives me a lot of stress, a lot of anxiety,” she revealed. “I don’t want to be late. In fact, today, if you noticed … I was not gonna be the last person to the stage.” That’s when the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host acknowledged, “And you weren’t.”

Even though Bozoma Saint John pointed out that she was the second-to-last arrival, Dorit playfully added, “Was I last? Was anyone waiting on me?”

How Andy Cohen prompted Dorit Kemsley to issue another apology on RHOBH

That was hardly the only instance of Andy giving Dorit the floor to issue a mea culpa, should she so choose to do so, during the Season 15 reunion.

Earlier, the WWHL host brought up how Erika had laid out for Dorit the two key reasons why she had “unleashed” on her in Italy, for example. “So, is there anything you want to say in response to those two things?” Andy asked her. “Do you want to apologize?”

After he provided some clarification that he was referring to Erika saying “it made her flip” when Dorit accused her of “lashing out” in order to “save her job” on RHOBH, she apologized again.

“I would’ve understood, had you told me both of those things,” Dorit said, also referring to Erika being upset that she’d said Boz had been there for her more than anybody else. “And I’m sorry that I made you feel that way.”

Following more back and forth, Erika opened up about how the accusation about trying to save her job had made her feel “really sad,” to which Dorit replied, “Well, I’m sorry.”

Either way, the two mutually decided in the end that the best course forward in their friendship would be for them to take a “break” from each other, at least for the time being.

Now that Season 15 is officially in the books, find out what Dorit and her RHOBH castmates have been doing since filming wrapped.
