However, Robyn frequently mentions Juan on her podcast, Reasonably Shady, which she co-hosts with Gizelle Bryant, sharing glimpses inside of her life with Juan as parents of two.

Who is Robyn Dixon’s husband Juan Dixon?
Juan is a former college basketball player who played for the University of Maryland, leading the university to win the 2002 National Championship. That same year, Juan was selected as a first-round pick in the NBA, after being selected 17th overall by the Washington Wizards. Juan has since transitioned to a coaching career, most recently coaching for University of Maryland’s alumni team, Shell Shock, according to Sports Illustrated.Â

The couple met in high school in 1996, after attending rival schools. Robyn and Juan first got married in 2005 in front of 400 guests in Washington, D.C., according to The Baltimore Sun.Â

Robyn and Juan got divorced in 2012 for a number of reasons, but remained co-parents to their two sons. “We got divorced because we weren’t in a good place in our relationship and there was kind of some infidelity and we weren’t in tune and connected,” she told OK! Magazine in 2016. “Something had to change, and unfortunately it was drastic.”

Why did Robyn Dixon and Juan Dixon get back together?
Robyn revealed during an April 2022 interview with Bravo Insider that being on RHOP had an impact on them getting back together. “It’s kind of funny, the show, the negativity from the show pushed us together,” she explained. “It’s like, you want to have each other’s back. You wanna speak up for that person. When you see how cold the world is out there, you want to be there for the one who has my back regardless.”
Robyn also explained their decision to get back together during the RHOP Season 4 reunion. “It’s hard to explain. It’s honestly a bond, a family bond. It’s our boys,” she said. “It’s about the history that we have. And it gets frustrating trying to make people understand it, because if you’re not in it, you don’t understand.”
