Confirmation: Ariana Biermann and Riley Burruss are still close friends. The Next Gen NYC cast members reconnected during Season 1 after being friends when they were kids, and their friendship is still going strong to this day.
Ariana took to both Instagram and TikTok on Sunday, April 26, where she posted a recent selfie of her with the words “Oh take me to your best friend’s house,” over it, before flashing to a photo of her and Riley from when they were much younger after they first met on The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 2 through their moms. “I loved you then,” she wrote over the throwback photo of them, before flashing to a recent picture of them together. “I’ll love you now,” she wrote.
“Besties,” Ariana wrote in the caption of the Instagram post.
Riley then took to the comments, where she left Ariana two eyes welling emojis, a star emoji, and a pink heart emoji. Over on TikTok, Riley took to the comments where she confirmed their friendship is going strong. “Silly together then & now,” she added.

Ariana celebrated Riley’s birthday last year in August, taking to her Instagram Story where she posted so many photos of her hanging out with Riley. She then penned the sweetest message to the Georgia native, explaining how she has played a pivotal role in her life in NYC.Â
“IDK how I’d do New York without you,” she wrote over one photo. “I got you always. I’m so grateful for you.”

Riley Burruss opens up about her friendship with Ariana Biermann
Both Riley and Ariana spoke with Us Weekly in October, where they opened up about their reunion, which was captured during Next Gen NYC Season 1. “I was nervous,” Riley said of reuniting with Ariana. “But we spent the day together, even outside of the cameras. We became best friends in two hours.”

Although Ariana and Riley’s moms had their differences on RHOA, Ariana admitted that they were able to look past that in order to establish their friendship. “I’m so happy we can show the world that it doesn’t matter when you stop being somebody’s friend or what happens between your families — you can still pick up and have a friendship outside of all the bulls–t,” Ariana noted.

More recently, Ariana took to her Instagram, where she shared an emotional update about her life. The post included multiple photos of Ariana hanging out with her family and friends (and dogs), and also shed light on how she’s doing today. “Some of my life this year. Reminder instagram is a highlight reel. Behind a lot of these photos, I was struggling. Beyond thankful for God and giving me the strength to find my way.
