Ariana Biermann is sharing some major updates on her mom, Kim Zolciak. The Next Gen NYC cast member is “best friends” with her mom, an alum of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and is so happy for her and her new relationship with her boyfriend, Kyle.

Ariana spoke with Bravo Insider in July, where she opened up about Kim’s life today. “My mom is my best friend,” she said. “We have never been so close, especially for the last few years. The boyfriend is incredible.”
“He is one of the sweetest people. And he loves the heck out of her, so that’s all I can really ask,” she continued. “She really needed him, and they have something that’s actually really beautiful.”
Ariana also appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on July 22, where she and her older sister, Brielle Biermann (who was sitting in the audience) confirmed that they like Kyle. “Love him. [He’s] exactly what she needed,” Brielle said. “Yeah, he’s great,” Ariana added.

While Kim has remained tight-lipped about her new relationship, she has shared her boyfriend’s name and shared glimpses inside of their romance. Kim spoke with Bravo Insider at BravoCon 2025, where she admitted that their relationship is “going great.” “It took me two years to even go on a date with anybody. Didn’t talk to anybody. I’m a Taurus, honey, I’m loyal to a fault,” she explained. “And then I went on a date with him and the rest is — here we are. So it’s great. He’s great. It’s hard for him to comprehend this industry and this business. He’s a businessman, you know, but he’s super supportive.”

Ariana told Bravo Insider in July that she also has so much gratitude for her mom, who first appeared on RHOA Season 1 when it premiered on Bravo in 2008. “I think that I obviously would not be here without my mom, and I think I’m always gonna be Kim Zolciak’s daughter, and for that, I’m fine with it. I’m grateful,” she stated. “I think that I kind of learn as I go and whenever business ventures I take on as time comes.”

Ariana Biermann reveals where she stands with dad, Kroy Biermann, today
While Ariana is in a good place with her mom, she also shared with Bravo Insider where she stands with her dad, Kroy Biermann, amid his ongoing divorce from Kim. “I’m not in touch with Kroy,” she admitted.
“But at the end of the day, he did raise me, and I’m very grateful for all the things he did for me growing up,” she continued. “And he will always be my dad whether or not he’s acting like a prick.”
