Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney’s sandwich shop, Something About Her, has officially turned two years old! The Vanderpump Rules alums opened their West Hollywood café in May 2024 and have been turning out sandwiches and good vibes ever since as they mark another anniversary.
Both Ariana and Katie also took to their Instagram Stories, where they posted the sweetest tributes to their business. Ariana posted a photo of herself and Katie and reflected on the sandwich shop being open for two years. “Getting to build this business with [Katie Maloney] brings me so much joy. I love you Katie!” she wrote. “Thank you to the most amazing staff we could ask for. We love doing this with you. Thank you to every person who has walked through our doors.”
Katie also thanked her business partner and friend for her involvement in their business. “Thank you to [Ariana Madix] and our incredible team, who we would be lost without!” she wrote. “Love you!!!!”
How Katie Maloney marked the two-year anniversary of Something About Her sandwich shop
Katie took to her Instagram Story, where she gave a look at Something About Her’s second birthday party. The podcast host snapped so many photos of the inside of the café, decorated with balloons, their staff wearing party hats, and a pop-up coffee cart outside of Something About Her. She also snapped a photo with her mom, Teri Maloney, as they stood inside the sandwich shop together.
Katie also posted a photo of her brother, Joey Maloney, celebrating the shop’s birthday party as he feasted on a sandwich and held a dog in his hand. Furthermore, Katie and her boyfriend, Nick Martin, got to take the time to hang out at the shop while they sat at a table and smiled for the camera.

Ariana Madix opens up about her role as the host of Love Island USA Season 8
In addition to co-owning Something About Her, Ariana is also returning as the host of Love Island USA Season 8, after previously serving as the host for Love Island USA Seasons 6 and 7. She spoke with Peacock Blog, where she opened up about anticipating this new season. “I’m always surprised by who ends up coupling up,” she explained. “Sometimes I think you can feel an energy between people that maybe you didn’t even see on camera, but when you’re there in person, you can always kinda feel like, ‘Oooh, there’s some chemistry here.'”
She also spoke with Elite Daily on May 27, where she admitted that she takes her job as host very seriously. “It’s a show that I’ve loved for a really long time, and I’ve always thought it should be really popular,” she said. “I take the role seriously, and I really try to give it my best.”
