Bellingham is widely reported to be set to make the move back to England at the end of the season. In two-and-a-half years at Borussia Dortmund, he has already made over 100 appearances despite not turning 20 until next June.
He is the next superstar of English football. The midfielder is already enjoying the best goalscoring campaign of his career and netted his first goal at the international level in England’s emphatic win over Iran at the World Cup on Monday.

Bellingham would likely attract a fee well in excess of £100million but he would be worth every penny. And if Arsenal only makes one signing next summer, he would be the perfect addition to Mikel Arteta‘s squad for three reasons.
Liverpool is at the other end of the spectrum, having fielded the highest average-age starting XI this season in the draw at Fulham on an opening day. Bellingham would help in that regard but there is a feeling lots more work needs to be done to rebuild the squad at Anfield.
Finally, Bellingham would be guaranteed a starting spot at Arsenal. Manchester City has the financial muscle to outbid anyone in England but would he be a starter straight away under Pep Guardiola?
Perhaps so, but not as much as he would at the Emirates. Arteta could build his team around one of the brightest talents England has seen for some time.
Bellingham will be just 20 next summer, so there is plenty of time for a Galactico-style move to Real Madrid later in his career. But for the time being, Arsenal could be the perfect place for his first taste of Premier League football.
