Details on Austen Kroll and Salley Carson’s relationship on Southern Charm Season 12
There is a lot in store for these two friends in the upcoming season of Southern Charm. In the Southern Charm Season 12 trailer, Salley can be seen playfully slapping Austen on the cheeks before confronting him about going on dates with newbie Allie Newman. But things become not so playful when Austen revealed that he went home with Molly O’Connell. “It’s none of your business. You and I? Cut it the f–k off,” Austen told Salley in the trailer.
Salley and Austen’s friends-with-benefits dynamic will continue to be explored in the new season. According to an announcement, “Austen is on top of the world. He and Salley seem to be happily friends with benefits, and his friendship with Craig [Conover] is easy and free, finally. But when feelings change and hard truths are dropped, Austen is forced to reevaluate his closest relationships.”Â
Salley, on the other hand, is still interested in Austen, “but she’s trying to come to terms with the fact it might not become something more. This realization puts strain on the rest of Salley’s friendships within the group.”
