Brooks Marks made a major change to his look. The Next Gen NYC fashion designer and model has been known to rock dark hair just like his mom, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City‘s Meredith Marks. But now Brooks is looking more like his sister, Chloe Marks, with his bleach blonde hair in time for Coachella 2026.
Brooks took to Instagram on April 9, where he posted a selfie showing off his brand new look. In the photo, the NYC resident can be seen looking down at the camera while he wears a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses on his forehead, showing off his freshly dyed, blonde locks. Brooks then took to the caption of the post, where he made a major declaration about his new look. “Did something kinda crazy,” he wrote.
Brooks’ dad, Seth Marks, took to the comments of the post where he complimented his son on his brand new look. “LOVE it!” he wrote. “Feel the feels and go with it. I’m inspired!!”
Brooks Marks shares a look into his friendship with Ava Dash
Brooks also took to his Instagram Story that same day, where he shared a second look at his hair and a look at his friendship with Next Gen NYC‘s Ava Dash. In the photo, Brooks and Ava can be seen wearing matching lavender sweatsuits while Brooks served some serious face for the camera as he grabbed onto his new blonde hair. “En route,” he wrote over the photo.
He later declared their weekend at the California music festival, “the best weekend.”

Brooks Marks opens up about his haircare routine
Brooks spoke with The Strategist in 2021 where he opened up about his haircare routine. He admitted to using Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Special shampoo and conditioner. “A not-so-fun fact about me is I have dry scalp,” he explained.
“I’ve tried many products to alleviate the itchiness — Head & Shoulders, Selsun — and these are my favorites by far,” he continued. “They have a cooling effect that I love. The shampoo lathers flawlessly, and the conditioner gets to each of my hairs and hydrates them. They have a luxurious feel for a very affordable price, in my opinion.”

Meredith Marks shows off her blonde hair
While Meredith currently rocks brown hair, she did sport a blonde wig during Next Gen NYC Season 1, Episode 1 for a photoshoot. Brooks made his mom put on a blonde wig for a photoshoot, leading him to give her a name for her alter-ego. “You like it?” Meredith asked Brooks.
“Yeah, but you need a new name,” Brooks replied. “You’re Marla.”
