“It’s been a really crazy ride, a good ride, a lot of work. I’m really proud of what we built. I have an amazing team,” he said.
Although Carl shared that owning a business hasn’t been easy, “we keep pushing and trying to evolve and grow,” he said. “We’ve learned from mistakes. We’ve had ups and downs for sure, but I really believe what we’re building, we need it.”
Carl Radke shares plans for what’s next for his business, Soft Bar
He continued, telling Bravo Insider that he hopes to expand Soft Bar to more cities in the future. “I hope we can bring more locations to other places because the numbers and the shift is real, I think,” he said. “What we’ve built is a very cool thing that could be very needed in lots of cities, and it isn’t always about the sobriety thing. Coffee shops don’t serve alcohol either, but people don’t call them sober coffee shops.”
“So I’m really keen on building SoftBar where it’s all about health and wellness and taking better care of yourself,” he said. “So it’s been really cool to prove the concept and show people what I thought was possible, and I see it happening every day where people come in, maybe never been to a bar that doesn’t serve alcohol, and after two or three hours like, ‘I had fun. I was social. I was connected. The drinks were good. The music sounded fun.'”

Carl Radke reveals how Kyle Cooke has supported Soft Bar + Café
Carl’s BFF Kyle Cooke has been nothing but supportive of Soft Bar over the past year, he told Bravo Insider. “Kyle has been so supportive,” he said. “We serve Loverboy. He DJed there now two times. He’s co-hosted running clubs with me. He’s popped in with friends. He’s been on my podcast. You can’t put a dollar amount to the energy, the support, the friendship, and just the confidence that he’s given me as a friend. It’s not really quantifiable.”
“And I look up to him in a lot of ways with building a business, creating something kind of out of thin air, and he’s taught me a lot,” he said of the Loverboy founder. “So I have a lot to owe to him. But I spent a lot of time with that guy and learned a lot, so that’s also given me the confidence to go, ‘Well, I’ve got an idea, too. I’ve got a vision. I’ve got a passion. I’m going to go for it.”

He’s also the host of the podcast, More Life with Carl Radke, interviewing people about their career pivots, passions, and health. “We just finished the recordings of our first season. I’m really happy with the guests we’ve had on,” he said. “I’ve had a lot of great Bravo friends. I mean, I’ve had Mia [Calabrese], Kyle, Lindsay [Hubbard], I’ve had Captain Sandy [Yawn].”
And he is sharing his hopes for his podcast to continue to get bigger. “So I’m excited about growing the More Life podcast and just continue to grow that whole part of my career.
