Carl Radke is sharing his thoughts about West Wilson and Amanda Batula’s romance. The Summer House cast member appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Tuesday, May 12, where he made a very bold statement about their connection.
During the show, WWHL host Andy Cohen had a very pointed question for Carl: “Do you think Amanda and West will last?” Carl was very honest with his reply. “Absolutely not,” he said.
Carl also shared that he heard rumblings of West and Amanda’s connection before they released their joint statement about their relationship on their Instagram Stories on March 31. “I had been hearing things for maybe a week or two before that,” he told Andy.

Although Carl had his suspicions about their connection earlier on, he told Andy that he had dismissed them due to his own experience with rumors. “True story. One of Ciara [Miller]’s very good friends that I’ve gotten to know texted me maybe a month before the statement and said, ‘I think something’s weird here.’ And I sent her screenshots of examples of times where I’ve been rumored as different stuff that wasn’t true,” he said. “I thought to myself, this happens to us all the time. There’s no way this would ever happen.”
But when Carl was doing press for Summer House Season 10 with Amanda and West, he kept an eye on them. “Amanda, as soon as the camera wrapped, she was gone. She’s like, ‘Alright, I’m out,'” Carl continued. “And there was a nervous energy. But Mia [Calabrese] was there, Lindsay [Hubbard] was there, we were all kind of keeping an eye. But the energy was off, and she dipped out really fast.”

West Wilson opens up about his relationship with Amanda Batula
West took to his podcast, Show Me Something, on April 20, where he revealed that there was “no overlap” between his relationship with Amanda and Amanda’s marriage to Kyle Cooke, from whom she is currently separated. “Everyone was single, like I said earlier,” he explained during the episode. “So when we realized things are maybe a bit serious in February, and that’s when this all started, and there’s not a whole lot more to it than that.”
He continued, noting that he has “been better.” “A lot has happened in a very, very short amount of time, obviously. And yeah, I’m trying to take it a day at a time and stay off my phone, but the internet is a very scary place to be,” he admitted.
