“The kids are doing great,” she said. “Presley started college, which was super sad. I went with my ex-husband and my one son, and we took her to college and so I cried a ton. It was really hard. And then I had to drive home in a car with my ex-husband for six hours. That was a little much,” she said. “Jax is a sophomore in high school. He’s doing well. Faith started high school. JJ is a Senior, so he’s going to college. So everybody, they’re all doing great.”

Although Carmella couldn’t handle the drive with Jeff, she told Bravo Insider that they are still in a good place today. “I love my ex-husband. He is a good co-parent,” she said. “We fight sometimes, but we’ve got a very good relationship.”

Carmella was married to Jeff, a former NFL quarterback. During RHOC Season 20, Episode 1, Carmella revealed that she and Jeff are not “legally divorced” but still have a good relationship for their kids. “Jeff and I don’t have a custody agreement,” she said during the episode. “We share them. And if one of them needs their mom and it’s 11 o’clock at night, I’m going over to Jeff’s and I’m picking them up. And then we spend, like, the holidays together.”

Carmella has opened up about her kids on her Instagram account, sharing how much they have supported her amid joining the cast of RHOC. She took to Instagram on July 18, where she posted a photo from her party celebrating her addition to RHOC. “To my best friends, amazing children, and God children, thank you for always loving me and supporting me unconditionally,” she wrote. “This journey has been surreal and having you all by my side means everything. I love you all more than you know.”
She also took to Instagram on Sept. 22, where she revealed that Jax just turned 16 years old. “I’m so proud of you and everything you’ve become,” she wrote. “I love seeing you happy and having so much fun. It’s hard to believe how fast the years have gone by. I’m holding these last couple of years before college close. Love you always.”
