Ciara Miller and Mia Calabrese are giving Amanda Batula some tough love in a new preview from the Summer House Season 10 finale (airing Tuesday, May 19 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo).
The clip kicks off with the trio sneaking in a candid conversation in the midst of the cast’s final backyard party of the summer in the Hamptons. While enjoying a “weird” snack, Amanda explains that she’s “being silly” because she doesn’t “want to acknowledge the reality of the situation with” Kyle Cooke, on the heels of their latest marital conflict from the previous night.
“But I’m so grateful to have the both of you, truly,” Amanda tells Ciara and Mia. “You guys say what I think, and you speak it out loud. And you’re never saying anything that, like, I don’t actually feel.”

After Ciara says that she just wants Amanda “to be happy,” the latter replies, “And I know that. I’ve said this to you before in a moment of weakness, but, like, I just fear that I’m not enough for anyone else.”
The ladies aren’t here for Amanda’s self-doubt, however, and Ciara responds, “That’s not true. I feel like that is a confidence thing. Like, we need to start working on your confidence.”Â
Amanda, meanwhile, counters that it’s not her or Mia’s “job” to build her up, and she’s “so tired of” them “having to always console” her.

That’s when Ciara decides to give Amanda a lovingly blunt reality check.
“Amanda, respectfully, shut up,” Ciara tells her in response. “Someone has to, because, bitch, you’re f–kin’ off your rocker. I have to be honest with ya, I’m getting tired of this s–t. Like, if you want me to stop handling you with kid gloves, I f–kin’ will.”
Mia’s also game to remove the kid gloves, chiming in, “Amanda, I don’t mind doing this at all. I am happy to do it.” After all, that’s what friends are for, they say.

With Amanda’s full permission to tell her “how it is,” Ciara continues, “If this was Mia, I would’ve gone to her house. We would’ve been packed her s–t. We would’ve been gone. If you want to f–king go, tell me when, and I’ll schedule every f–kin’ thing for you.”
Amanda’s reaction? “That’s what I need to hear,” she tells Ciara. “I don’t need to be handled like a baby.”
Before the sneak peek ends, Ciara gets in some more stern final words on the matter: “But also, at the same time, bitch, we’re not gonna sit here and cry about it and not do anything about it. You are in charge of your life. You have to stop letting life happen to you.”
Why Ciara Miller suggested that Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke take some “time apart”
During a previous conversation on the streets of New York City that aired in Episode 13, Ciara floated the idea of Amanda and Kyle temporarily separating. Though the two were in couples therapy, Ciara’s observations of Kyle’s more lighthearted demeanor amid Amanda’s absence in the Hamptons the preceding weekend ultimately led to her make the suggestion.
Describing how Kyle “was almost able to, like, be himself” when Amanda stayed behind in NYC, Ciara recalled thinking that it would be “probably great for them to just, like, have time apart.”
“Do you ever wonder if, like, you guys took time apart and, like, separated for, like, two weeks, a month or something, and, like, were able to, like, focus more on the crux of your issues…” Ciara began to ask Amanda, who interjected, “I agree. And I don’t think that that’s, like, a bad idea. I just feel like he would never go for it. Never.”
In a confessional, Ciara concluded, “Behind closed doors, nobody really knows what’s happening in a marriage. I would hope and pray that it’s entirely different than what I’m seeing. But at this point, what I’m seeing doesn’t feel like it’s conducive to, like, building a future together.”
