Ciara Miller is responding to the criticism about her dating life. The Summer House cast member has been open about her romantic life since joining the cast of Summer House in Season 5 and is addressing how people believe she has “bad taste in men.”
The model and red carpet host spoke with Glamour Magazine in an interview published on April 17, where she admitted that she doesn’t like people criticizing her for choosing her past partners. “I do feel like I get a lot of grief for dating people. But here’s the thing, I’ve only technically dated two people publicly,” she admitted. “For people to make a really roundabout statement about my taste based on two people is annoying and frustrating.”
She continued, “I’m trying to figure out dating. If I were a f—ing expert, don’t you think I would probably be married? But I’m not.”
She went on to add, “Why do we put this pressure on young women, like it’s our fault for not seeing who this person was immediately? It’s our fault for having bad taste in men, when men often present themselves as one way for the first three months and then completely end up being someone totally different.”

Ciara Miller opens up about the challenges of “dating interracially”
The Georgia native further opened up about navigating her dating life and admits that she is still trying to figure it out it given all the “nuances.” “It’s hard. Dating interracially is a whole other layer — the nuances of interracial dating and how much of a mindf–k it can be. Not only do you have to figure out who this person f—ing voted for, you have to figure it out, like, ‘OK, you’re attracted to me, you like me, but do you like people that look like me?'” she said.
She continued, “Because I’m one person, but would you really advocate for all of us? That, to me, is important and vital because I don’t want to be an exception to your rule at all.”

Ciara Miller discusses dating in the public eye
While Ciara has shared some of her dating life with viewers over the years, during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in November 2024, she noted that she wants her future relationships out of the public eye.Â
“Honestly, I’ll never soft launch or hard launch anyone until my wedding day,” she said.
