Ciara Miller is revealing what she looks for in a romantic partner. The Summer House cast member has been in several relationships over the years and is sharing some of her dating preferences today.
The model and red carpet host recently spoke with Better Homes & Gardens, where she emphasized the important traits her potential partner should possess. This includes her date waiting to eat at a restaurant before she gets her entree and walking closest to the curb when they’re on the streets of NYC. “The date always needs to walk on the outside,” she explained in a video posted to Instagram earlier this month. “And in fact, when I go on a date, if they don’t immediately switch sides with me, I’m pissed.”
While she doesn’t prefer her ideal partner to use phrases like “yes, sir” and “yes, ma’am” in conversation, she does appreciate them using their manners in other instances. “Open the door, chivalry is not dead. Open the door,” she continued. “You know what else is bare minimum? If you go out on a date, send a car.”

But when Ciara needs help with dating, she relies on her BFF, Summer House Season 10 newcomer, Mia Calabrese. Ciara appeared on the podcast, Smith Sisters Live, on March 2, where she opened up about what it’s like for her to go out as a single woman with Mia, who is currently in a relationship.
“She has great social cues. But she’s also great to go out with, and wing woman — I’m single, and she’s just like, we’re going to talk to — she’ll talk to anybody,” Ciara explained during the episode. “And she’s a flirt. She’s the most amazing, and I love going out with her. We always have a good time. So I’m like, if Mia’s down to get into something, I’m like, ‘Let’s go.’ Because you never know what will end up.”

Ciara Miller opens up about wanting privacy in her future relationships
Ciara has also admitted that she wants privacy in her future relationships after several public romances. She shared with Andy Cohen during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in November 2024 that she wants her future relationships off-screen. “Honestly, I’ll never soft launch or hard launch anyone until my wedding day,” she said.
She reiterated this in an interview with Us Weekly in November 2024, noting that she wants to keep future relationships off-screen. “I’ve dated two people on TV so far. I think, like for me, I fare better just being more private in certain areas,” she told the publication. “I feel like I do give so much on my show and in real life and in filming, and I have to show so many different sides, but some things should be sacred to me, and me and myself only behind closed doors.”
