Danielle Olivera and Eoin Heavey are sharing some major updates on their newborn son, Aidan Santos Heavey. The In The City couple welcomed their baby on June 21, 10 weeks before his due date, and are sharing all of the milestones he has experienced in the NICU over the past few weeks.
Danielle has taken to Instagram since giving birth, celebrating all of Aidan’s accomplishments as he continues to grow under the care of nurses and doctors in the hospital. Danielle took to Instagram on Aug. 2, where she posted a series of updates on her son, who is now more than 42 days old, and breathing “room air.” This means that Aidan gets “way more cuddles now” and gets to wear “cute outfits all the time” even though, according to her, he looks like “an old Irish man at the pub.”
Danielle also revealed on her Instagram Story that Aidan also made some major accomplishments by upgrading to newborn-size diapers and getting to take his first bath, which he was a little unsure about. “Didn’t love it, didn’t hate it,” she wrote over the photo on Instagram, along with a crying while laughing emoji. Speaking of firsts, in July, Danielle also revealed that Aidan was finally in his “first outfit.”

Danielle continued to share more photos of Aidan on her Instagram Story since she gave birth. In the photos, Danielle can be seen holding Aidan in her arms in the NICU, posing next to Eoin as they got dressed up to go visit their son, and revealing that her mom was spending time with Aidan in the NICU.

Danielle also took to Instagram on July 18, where she posted a series of photos of Aidan in the hospital from the past month. She then took to the caption of the post, where she revealed that their son is “tiny, mighty, and clearly not interested in our timeline.” “He’s thriving in the NICU and getting stronger every day while keeping Mom & Dad on our toes,” she continued in the caption.
She further revealed that they are unsure when they will be bringing Aidan home, but will keep updating their Instagram accounts with more information. “We can’t wait for the day we finally bring you home, Aidan. Until then, we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way,” she concluded.
