Linda Kasabian was granted immunity in exchange for her testimony against Charles Manson and his co-defendants in the Tate-LaBianca murder trial.

As a result, she did not go to jail for her involvement in the Manson Family or her presence at the crime scenes.

Kasabian was initially charged with murder alongside Manson and his followers, but the charges were dropped after she agreed to cooperate with the prosecution.

Instead, she was granted immunity from prosecution for any crimes committed during her time with the Manson Family, including the Tate-LaBianca murders.

After the trial, Kasabian largely disappeared from public view and has not been involved in any criminal activity since.

Meet Linda Kasabian Husband, Robert Peasley

Linda Kasabian married Robert Peasley in 1968 before she joined the Manson Family.

Regarding Peasley’s profession, he was a musician and artist. The couple had a daughter named Tanya together.

Peasley was not involved in the Manson Family or the Tate-LaBianca murders, and he and Kasabian eventually separated due to her involvement with the cult.

Furthermore, Kasabian left Peasley and their daughter in New Hampshire and traveled to California.

Linda met Charles Manson in 1969 in California and became involved with the Manson Family.

During her time with the Manson Family, Kasabian did not have contact with Peasley or her daughter.

Reportedly, after the Manson trial, she contacted Peasley to reconcile. However, their relationship did not last, and they eventually divorced.

Not much is known about Peasley’s life after his marriage to Kasabian, as he has largely remained out of the public eye.

Linda Kasabian was born on June 21, 1949, in Biddeford, Maine, United States. As aforementioned, Kasabian met Manson in 1969 while hitchhiking in California.

She joined the group and became one of Manson’s followers, along with other young women drawn to him.

Kasabian was present at several of the Manson Family’s infamous gatherings, including the August 1969 Tate-LaBianca murders, which resulted in the deaths of actress Sharon Tate and six others.

However, Kasabian did not participate in the murders, and she later became a key witness for the prosecution in the trial of Manson and his followers.
