Nearly a year into her engagement, Dolores Catania’s wedding to Paulie Connell is still making The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member “nervous.” At Bravo Fan Fest 2026, Dolores offered a major hint about how she’s tailoring her wedding planning to alleviate some of her biggest stressors, however.
As she explained during the “Housewife2Housewife: Coast2Coast” panel on Oct. 24, “the thought of even being a bride again” was giving her anxiety. “I’m gonna run around in a dress for a day?” the RHONJ Season 15 cast member remarked. “I get nervous for that.”
Instead of stressing over the guest list, Dolores said, “I just want to have a big open party,” adding, “I’m just like, the thought of that whole big party, and what if I forget to invite somebody? I would die, and it would just be… Like, I feel funny. It’s a lot of pressure in our position.”
Who from the Bravoverse would Dolores Catania want to officiate her wedding?
Responding to a fan question about who from the Bravoverse she would choose as her and Paulie’s wedding officiant, Dolores named Andy Cohen. “It would have to be Andy,” she said. “Daddy Andy, we call him.”
When are Dolores Catania and Paulie Connell getting married?
Though Dolores and Paulie have yet to publicly reveal if they’ve chosen a wedding date, they offered a major clue in a joint interview with Bravo Insider earlier this year. “Paul wants to get married on November 10th because that’s when we got engaged and that’s a significant date for him cause that’s when I moved in,” she said. “And I wanna do a New Year’s Eve party.”
Dolores Catania reveals she’s throwing a second wedding for son Frankie Catania Jr.
As Dolores plans her own nuptials, she has another wedding on her mind, too. Although her son, Frankie Catania Jr., already married his new bride, Nicole Perricho, in Portugal on Aug. 1, she revealed to the Bravo Fan Fest 2026 attendees in Charleston, South Carolina, that she’s planning a second wedding for the newlyweds stateside.
The subject arose when a fan, who identified herself as a “boy mom,” asked for advice on how to navigate bringing a new daughter-in-law into the fold. Referring to Frankie and Nicole’s wedding specifically, Dolores admitted that “it was hard” to reel in the “Italian mom thing.”
“I sat on my hands, and I shut my mouth,” she said, before talking up her own ability to throw a good party, while also praising the “amazing” job that Nicole did. “But now I’m having another wedding here for my family ’cause they couldn’t make it to Portugal.”

Her new daughter-in-law’s thoughts on letting Dolores take the reins? “She said to me, ‘It’s on you, queen. This is your thing. You do yours,'” she shared. “So, it’s gonna be a big party here, and, you know, it’s just so far, really good.”
When fellow panelist Gina Kirschenheiter applauded her approach to sitting back and letting Frankie’s bride handle the Portugal wedding, Dolores concluded, “You don’t want to lose your son. If you have to eat s–t, you eat s–t.”
