Dorit Kemsley is going on tour for her new memoir, Unburdened. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom of two is set to release her new book in June and is hitting the road to support the memoir, Unburdened.
Dorit took to Instagram earlier in the month, where she revealed that she would be traveling across the United States, heading to different bookstores for the launch of the new memoir. Dorit will be in Los Angeles on May 31, Brooklyn on June 2, Ridgewood, New Jersey on June 3; and in Manhattan on June 4. Each event is taking place in “Dorit Standard Time” paying homage to Dorit’s “lateness,” which was a heavily discussed topic during RHOBH Season 15. Â “Taking Unburdened on tour,” Dorit wrote in the caption of the post. “Can’t wait to meet you all.”
Dorit’s friend and marketing professional, Bozoma Saint John, took to the comments of the post where she applauded Dorit on her latest career move. “Dorit Standard Time…bwaaaahaaaahaaa!!! That’s how to market! Nicely done! Let’s goooooooo!!!!” she wrote.

Unburdened will be released on June 2, according to the publisher. This book documents “Dorit’s glamorous and deeply personal story — a story of transformation, resilience, and the unshakable power of self-love. For fans and new readers alike, this memoir will offer an intimate look at the woman behind the camera: a mother, a survivor, a dreamer, and a woman reclaiming her voice.”
Dorit opened up about the memoir during an episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show. “It is me speaking from my heart, like I’m talking to a best friend and just sharing everything. Everything,” she explained. “This is not a tell-all.”

She continued, sharing more content of the book, which will cover her marriage to Paul “PK” Kemsley. “This is not, ‘Let me eviscerate. Bury.’ This is me bearing my soul. Being honest, being open. I’ve been through a lot of trials and tribulations, particularly the last decade. Married PK, the end of our marriage,” she noted. “There’s a lot between joining the show, and just before that.”

Dorit Kemsley opens up about being financially independent from PK Kemsley
Dorit had discussed her career during RHOBH Season 15, where she revealed that she wanted to be financially independent amid her divorce from PK. “I don’t want to have worries,” she told her management team during RHOBH Season 15, Episode 6. “I want to be able to buy myself whatever I want, do whatever I want for the kids. I’ve got goals.”
She continued to open up about this during the RHOBH After Show. “I always had financial independence,” she continued. “However, my life was so intertwined with PK. So, I feel liberated, and I have the freedom to now go pursue things, whereas before, I didn’t.”
