Eileen Davidson is opening up about her time on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and whether she would ever return to the show. The actress joined RHOBH in Season 5 before announcing her departure after RHOBH Season 7 aired.
She appeared on the podcast, Soapy, on May 5, where she admitted that she doesn’t see herself returning to the show. “I’ve learned a long time ago not to say never, but I don’t,” she stated during the episode.
“I’m not cut out for it necessarily,” she said. “I learned so many things. I learned so many things about myself and so many things about human nature.”
Although Eileen wouldn’t return, she admitted that she has no regrets about being on the show. “It was so terrifying all the time, but also fun and crazy and completely outside of my comfort zone,” she stated. “And I don’t have any regrets. It’s just been really interesting.”

Eileen also revealed how her husband, Vince Van Patten, felt about her being on the show. “He was so funny about it. He supported me in whatever,” she said. “But he was fine with whatever I wanted to do. He was hilarious. He was out looking at the drama.”
But she and Vince’s three sons had some other thoughts. Eileen and Vince are the parents of son, Jesse Van Patten, with Vince bringing in two sons, Duke and Vinny Jr., from his previous relationship. “The older ones were fine, but they were basically going to college at that time,” she noted. “Jesse was fine in the beginning, but he hit puberty towards the end. He would get asked, ‘Oh, you’re that kid from Housewives?’ when he was in school. He’d go, ‘No, I’m not.’ He’d walk away. ‘No wrong person.’ I’m like, that’s the way to handle it. Deny, deny, deny.”

Kyle Richards reveals where she stands with Eileen Davidson today
Although Eileen would not return to RHOBH, Kyle Richards stated in 2024 that she would like her to return. Kyle also spoke with The Daily Dish at BravoCon 2025, where she revealed where she stands with the Daytime Emmy Award winner. “I love, Eileen, but you know, I don’t see her really,” she said.
