HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (TCN) — A 79-year-old man has been arrested on five counts of indecent exposure and lewd behavior after he allegedly repeatedly exposed himself to neighbors.
According to WPLG, neighbors of Tyrone James Causey called the police after becoming frustrated with his behavior, which allegedly included exposing himself, walking around the common areas of the building making lewd gestures, and thrusting his penis at a neighbor’s doorbell camera. Savannah Hutcheson, an officer with the Hollywood Police Department, arrived at Causey’s house on May 22 and he allegedly answered the door wearing a G-string thong.
Causey allegedly cited a Florida statute saying he was allowed to walk around naked in the complex and that it is only illegal in parks, WPLG reports. He allegedly said he had a right to be naked in the complex, and then put on lipstick, touched his penis, and told Hutcheson, “Jump rope for me, baby doll.”
Causey was arrested on five charges of indecent exposure after police spoke to five neighbors who had seen the alleged behavior, WPLG reports. He was booked into the Broward County Jail, per Us Weekly.
Causey had previously been arrested on the same charges in 1987, but a judge found probable cause to reduce the May 22 charges to misdemeanors and he was released from jail, according to WPLG.
