Erika Jayne is officially another year older and celebrated alongside her boyfriend, John McPhee, who also marked his own birthday days after the singer. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member took to social media recently, where she shared some major updates on her relationship with John today.
Erika took to her Instagram account on July 12, where she posted a video of her hanging out with John on his birthday. In the video, John can be seen wearing noise-cancelling earmuffs, driving in the open New Mexico desert, while nodding at Erika, who sat beside him.Â
“Happy birthday,” she wrote in the caption of the post, along with a hugging face emoji. The post marked a big moment for Erika and John as it appears to be the first time she’s posted a moment with her boyfriend to her Instagram feed since they started dating in 2025.

The couple has plenty to celebrate with Erika’s 55th birthday coming just two days before. Erika’s friends took to their Instagram accounts and Stories on her birthday on July 10, where they wished her well and shared insight into where they stand today.
Dorit Kemsley took to her social media, where she posted a photo of her hugging her on-again-off-again friend. “Happy birthday,” Dorit wrote over the photo.Â
Kyle Richards took to her Instagram Story, where she posted a photo of them all dressed up together. “Happy birthday. Love you!” Kyle wrote over the image.Â
Fellow Fox Force Five member, Teddi Mellencamp, also posted a photo of her hugging Erika. “Thank you for always being there for me,” she noted.
Sutton Stracke took to her Instagram, where she posted a photo of her and Erika wearing oversized sunglasses, sitting on a beach. She wrote in the caption of the post, “Happy birthday to my fellow GA girl! May your 55th year be your best year.”

Erika shared insight into her relationship with John during Part 1 of the RHOBH Season 15 reunion. During the sit-down with Andy Cohen, Erika admitted that her relationship with her boyfriend had been a “nice” change of pace for her compared to her previous ones. “Oh my God, you’re talking to, like, the ultimate G.I. Joe,” she said.
Furthermore, Erika admitted John has already won the approval of her adult son, Tommy Zizzo, a police officer in Los Angeles. “My son’s probably more in love with this man than I could ever be,” she added.
