PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. (TCN) — A man has been arrested and charged with felony digital voyeurism after his former partner discovered a Ring camera in her bedroom he had allegedly hidden there.
After the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation, 49-year-old Sinturious Wright was taken into custody and charged on April 9, WPEC reports. Wright’s former partner and the mother of their three children contacted authorities in February after she alleged she found a Ring camera on a shelf in her bedroom. Only the lens was exposed and it had been hidden behind another object on the shelf.
The victim, whose name has not been released, told authorities she heard a voice coming from the shelf and found the camera when she investigated. She recognized the voice and alleged it was Wright’s.
The investigation revealed the couple had broken up in February 2025. The victim had allowed Wright into her home in February to put together a toy for one of their children and he was alone in the home at that time, according to WPEC. Wright reportedly agreed to meet with investigators and gave them video footage that he had obtained. The Ring camera was motion-activated and videos showed that the victim was unaware she was being recorded at the time.
