A Florida woman was arrested on Sunday for allegedly beating her boyfriend with a Christmas tree on Christmas Eve.
Miracle Rivera, 20, and her 24-year-old boyfriend reportedly got into an altercation in the bedroom of their St. Petersburg home. The boyfriend left the bedroom to get away from Rivera and was lying on the living room couch when Rivera picked up their tree and repeatedly struck him with it, according to the Smoking Gun.
St. Petersburg police claimed Rivera’s boyfriend suffered minor scratches all over his upper body and arms.
The Smoking Gun reported that Rivera was arrested on domestic battery charges and released from jail on Christmas Day. She was barred from having contact with her boyfriend.
